Awesome watch for the money, great quality, my first bronze watch, it’s a good one to try out, not everyone likes the patina it develops.

I was cautiously optimistic when I ordered this, since it was being shipped directly from China, but it had the features I was looking for such as automatic movement, water resistance for swimming, and a screw down stem protected by the case itself. It arrived very quickly, even through the holidays. I really like the watch! The machined bronze case is good looking, and the hands are very visible in low light. No, the luminous paint on the hands doesn't appear to glow, but the hour and minute hands are bright orange and very visible against the dark green face, and the second hand is brightly polished bronze. The face itself has a nice, matte finish with raised, three dimensional, bright bronze, numbers and graphics in contrast to the green background. It's keeping good time and running well. I'm very pleased with it!

This is a beautiful watch with great specs. Finishing is not the best. The dial wiggles around when you adjust the time. It bothers me quite a bit. I will probably take it to get fixed. I can still recommend it for the price. The strap it comes with is VERY Bulky though. I swapped mine.

First of all, I would like to say that I was very impressed with the quick delivery of this watch from Boderry. The item was ordered on April 25th and I received the watch on May 1st. Impressive since the watch was shipped via air freight from China. I was also very impressed with the outer and inner packaging. The watch had adequate packaging to protect it from any potential damage during the shipping process and it arrived in good shape. Item summary: I was excited to order this watch based on the style and the good reviews that I have seen online. The watch had most of the features I was looking for. For those of you that are not familiar with bronze watches, one characteristic is that they develop a “patina” with wear, time and exposure to the environment and the oils in the wearers skin. Generally, when they come from the factory, the finish is pristine and the patina has not had any time to develop. Upon initial inspection, I found a few areas on the case that are already discolored and oxidized. The most prominent one being on the bezel above the 12 dial marker. I am not sure if this is actual oxidation or a scratch made during the manufacturing process. Additionally, on one side of the case, there was evidence of a fingerprint and a spot of discoloration on the crown. As I mentioned previously, I was expecting the watch to be bright and polished, free of any oxidation since it was coming directly from the factory. My first thought was to set up a return and request a replacement. After thinking about it for a day or so, I believe I will keep it since the patina IS a characteristic of this type of metal and any replacement I receive would do exactly the same thing eventually. After all, this is the look I was ultimately expecting. Style wise, the watch is very attractive. Per Boderry, the watch case is made of CuSn8 bronze which is marine grade and appears to be the “standard” for bronze watch cases. The case shape is attractive and it’s a nice 40mm diameter, not too big nor too small. The dial is textured and easy to read with an attractive dark green color that compliments the bronze case very nicely. The hour and minute hands are high visibility orange with a bronze “lollipop” style second hand. The date window is at the 3 o’clock position and the crown at the 4. The crystal is sapphire and recessed slightly below the bezel. Inside is a self winding and hacking Seiko NH35 movement which should prove to be very accurate and reliable. Case back is stainless steel which I understand is done since bronze can irritate the skin or cause the skin to turn green if it comes into direct contact. As I mentioned previously, this watch checked off most of my boxes. I’m not into bling or flashy watches and I am looking forward to the patina developing over time. While I am pleased with the style of this watch, I am not very fond of the leather Nato style strap. I find the strap to be somewhat stiff and bulky and the fit on my wrist is kind of wonky as it doesn’t lay flat. The strap is thick leather so the Nato style adds approximately 4.5mm to the height of the watch case when on wrist. The strap does have bronze buckle and keepers that match the rest of the bronze theme. I would have preferred a traditional 2-piece style leather strap with a bronze buckle and will be changing this out soon. My apologies for the long review but I wanted to cover all the main points and my initial observations upon delivery. I hope that this review will help to answer any questions that you may have when making a decision to buy this watch. Update 5/11/24: After having the watch for a total of five days, I unscrewed the crown to adjust the date and the crown failed. It seperated from the stem going into the watch. I made several attempts to re-screw the crown cap and realized that it had broken off of the stem itself. I initiated a return and the supplier quickly approved the return and upon receipt, will issue a credit. I did not receive any other offers to replace or repair the watch. The return is in transit, (to US office) and is pending the credit.

I've really enjoyed this watch. The bronze case gives it a unique look that develops character over time, the dial is easy to read, and the automatic movement has been reliable. It feels well made and looks much more expensive than it is. My only complaint is the included strap. It wasn't very comfortable, so I replaced it with a different one, and that completely changed the watch. With a better strap, it's become one of my favorite watches to wear. If you're considering this watch, I'd recommend budgeting for an aftermarket strap. The watch itself is excellent, the original strap just doesn't do it justice.

Great value bronze watch. Seiko automatic movement, sapphire crystal, CuSn8 bronze case - beautiful! I may warm-up to the overly chunky strap it comes with one day, but replaced it for now. Delivery was 17 days from order to door, southeast USA. Update: After one month I can confirm the strap is a dud, apart from being way too thick for the watch, the keepers are not bronze and so although the watch is gaining a nice patina, the watch metalwork remains a shiny brass color My watch gains about 15secs a day

It feels very solid and well-made, and the details are beautiful in person. I get compliments every time I wear it. If you like slightly larger watches or a more statement style, don’t let the “men’s” label stop you—this watch is versatile and stylish for anyone.

Good watch for price. Nice to add a bronze watch to collection. NATO Strap is large and thick and I swapped it for a smaller leather unit.

Ce n'est pas la montre la plus raffinée du marché, la finition est un peu sommaire et les cornes manquent d'élégance mais le bronze est vraiment beau, il se patine en tournant à l'or rose, le bracelet est de bonne qualité, le mouvement Seiko marche bien mieux que celui de mes montres Seiko, à croire qu'il a été réglé en usine. Donc c'est une montre idéale pour se faire un petit plaisir et qui offre bien plus que son prix ne le laisserait penser.

Problema risolto in tempi più che rapidi compatibilmente con le,spedizioni A/R dalla Cina. First of all the package is really funny. It’s a miniature of a shipping container. Now for the watch it has a sapphire crystal, screw down crown, the mechanism is the NH35 or NH36 which is really really good. The strap is very long and good quality. The only problem I found is the lume. It doesn’t last that long. Overall it’s nice made and very good looking watch for the price
