Thoughtfully Engineered!
Usually I won't buy anything on Amazon with a single digit review count, but I'm glad I took the risk this time! I bought these because I wanted a pair of sturdy stands that could house the pair of Klipsch RP600M speakers (16 lb each) I use for surrounds in my 5.1 setup. I thought they looked nice and the 34" height is perfect to make sure my speakers peak over the back of my couch. These stands are a bit pricey and the review count gave me pause, but they're an appropriate buy with all of this in mind.Ordinarily I'd dock a product like this by one star for the premium price tag but in this case I actually think it's justified. Everything about these stands is VERY well engineered. A few things that I noticed and appreciate:- The packaging feels very premium. The two stands are packed together compactly in one box. The cardboard is thick with a glossy finish and tasteful branding that feels like quality, not to mention the individually sleeved components to protect the surface finishes during transit.- Speaking of finish, the stands have a stylish black textured metal look that pairs well with my ebony speakers. The surfaces feel and look premium.- Assembly is simple with all required tools included. Instructions are clear but you could probably figure it out without them. The inclusion of two sets of swappable screw-on feet is great for mounting on carpet or direct on your floors. The feet are rubberized for vibration isolation in either case.- Functionally these are everything I'd ask for. They're sturdy and the hollowed out shaft makes for a sleek cable management solution. The wire connections to the back of the speakers atop the stands are minimally visible and the feet on the base allow you to run the speaker wire in any direction without any unnecessary slack or messy appearance.Again, I'd normally dock points for price but I appreciate good engineering and I found thoughtful design choices in every aspect of this product. Everything about these stands is great from the way they arrived at my door to the way they stand in my living room and enable me to annoy my neighbors. A+ product.

These stands are designed to provide a sturdy and stylish foundation for my Klipsh the Five speakers, enhancing both audio quality and aesthetic appeal. The build quality is excellent, with a durable frame and a stable base that minimizes vibrations for optimal sound performance. Assembly was straightforward, thanks to clear instructions and included hardware.Overall, these speaker stands are a great investment for anyone looking to elevate their home audio experience. Highly recommended for their quality, functionality, and value!

Sleek and solid option
These are awesome. Very intuitive to put together. Feels solid. I initially had concerns that the metal middle part was not going blend in with the wood base but not a problem at all. The cable management system is great and easy to pull cables through.

Adequate for the price
I had three specific requirements for speaker stands: 1. They needed to be rated to handle at least 28 pounds, 2. They needed to be at least 34 inches in height, and 3. They needed to have cable management. The Kanto ST34 checked all the boxes. After having set them up, I’d say they are adequate for the price. In my opinion, there’s a few missed opportunities that would’ve made this product stellar. I’ll start with the platform where the speaker sits. It’s made of metal. It would’ve been nice if they included either foam or rubber padding to protect the finish of your cabinet and to cut down on resonances. Fortunately, my Klipsch speakers come with a nice cork padding on the bottom. Also I found the platform to be quite small. The size is fine for smaller setups, but I was immediately concerned about stability. Maybe a slightly wider platform would inspire a bit more confidence. Additionally, I found the base to be on the small side. Again, stability is a concern. I think if my kids were small or I had larger dog, I probably would return these for something more sturdy. My final note is that the hole for threading cables is very small. It’s fine for a single speaker wire, but in my case, I needed to run an HDMI, power and some proprietary cable that I don’t know the name of. It all fit but its a tight squeeze. At some point I’ll be adding a phono cable to the mix. Overall, not bad. Fine for smaller speakers. The look is minimal and clean. Unsightly cables are nicely hidden.

Better than good!
Was better than I expected! Very nice quality and super easy to assemble. No nonsense instructions. Extremely sturdy, with either carpet or hard floor feet to choose from. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for stylish and well crafted speaker stands.

NIce Stands, Nice Price
The stands seem to be sturdy. Not difficult to assemble. Maybe it's me, but I had a little trouble feeding the wire through the stand, it kept getting caught. I just took off the top shelf, because I had already assembled it and the wire easily fed through and I put it back on (1 screw). They are reasonably stable. They are holding 11 lb Klipsch speakers. The speakers have not moved, but I decided to use Blu Tack putty because of the CA earthquakes. If you are looking for a reasonably priced stand, I would recommend these.

Great stands for bookshelf speakers - Klipsch The Fives
Great set of stands. Sturdy and heavy but slender design looks stylish without being too bulky or ornate/noticable. These are meant to blend in and not draw attention to themselves. The cable routing is very spacious and easy to access. They are robust but let your speakers be the focus. The height is perfect for when sitting on the couch. Not too short for when standing in the room, either. I would definitely recommend them for bookshelf speakers and monitors.
