CITY COLORCOSMETICS Be Matte Blush - Blendable Mineral Makeup Powder

I purchased this blush in Guava and am very satisfied with it. I chose this because it is matte. I have many other blushes that have shimmer that I wanted a matte option. Guava is a very nice brick color, a nice, neutral shade. Application is easy; it goes on smooth and well with a blush brush. A little goes a long way so apply softly and gently. You can always add more for a more defined or dramatic look. I am by no means a make up guru, but I do own a ton of make up. I’m very happy with this blush and would look into getting other shades. This gives you the perfect pinched cheeks look.

Goes on well, fantastic color, blends easily. The pan can be a bit dusty, but the blush is so huge that it doesn't really matter if a little gets wasted. Stays on all day, excellent pigmentation. ACAI is an unusual color, a very cool, bright, purple-fuchsia. Perfect for my super cool skin tone. The unit is HUGE... like several times bigger than an average blush, so it is a great deal price wise. The compact it the size of your palm. Will repurchase in 5 years when this one finally gets used up.

I have a lot of high end makeup. It’s ridiculous how much honestly, but the older I get the more I’m sucked into products that might give the illusion of youth.I’d been looking for a purple blush, and I bought several from other companies-one by Mac. They all seemed to end up pale lavender no matter how they looked in the container, and my skin is too dark. I have silver hair and darker skin so like to wear purple lips and eyes and needed a blush to pull those colors together. I came across this City Color on Amazon and figured, why not?Well, it looks bright but it’s quite a beautiful blush. It’s very pigmented, but easily blendable to get the correct purple I want. If you want to look like one of those old ladies with the big blush spots on her cheeks you can, but a few extra whisks of your brush blends it right in. Add a highlighter and it’s super pretty. Nobody wants to look bruised and this doesn’t give that color, it’s purple but not bruise purple.What else can I say? Oh, it’s a large container, this blush will last for years. I’m going to buy more in their blush line. This one and Tarte’s “paaarty” are my two go-tos, but this is really my fav. I’m very happy with this product and it’s every bit as buttery and blendable as a high end one.

But after only a month, and most of the product still remaining since I rarely wear make-up, it has crumbled. I haven't traveled with it or dropped it. I just opened it one day and it was in 100 pieces. Loved the product but since I will likely have to throw most of it away, it's not a good value.

This is a beautiful blush! First, I was impressed by its size! The compact is so much larger than the typical blush you purchase in store. And I love when I feel like I’m getting the most bang for my buck! Secondly, the color is gorgeous and a beautiful shade! A nice neutral shade of light burgundy almost. The pigmentation is also great and holds its color all day. Blends well with your skin tone.

Good quality and quantity for the price. I purchased this because it seems all blush has sparkly stuff that I don't care for. I'm redheaded and fair skinned, I ordered the guava color. I need very little to get the job done and have to blend really well. I don't mind. I should have gone lighter in tone, but it's so difficult to judge color on a screen. In ten years when I need to purchase more, I'll go lighter ;)

No no no do not buy this product!! Color does not match picture at all and one tiny brush stroke you’ll get makeup all over your counter seeing as it just falls apart.

I love the color and the product but when it arrived it was completely broken. I've still been using it but would be a lot easier to use and travel with had it not crumbled...
