Der Sockelteil hat außen einen runden Boden, dennoch kippt die Mühle nicht um, der innere Boden ist geriffelt. Das Oberteil hat eine geriffelte Unterseite und beinhaltet einen Hohlraum, wo man das Mahlgut unterbringen kann. Dieser Hohlraum wird mit einem schönen Walnußdeckel verschlossen.Ich habe ein wenig experimentiert und fülle nur so viele Pfefferkörner hinein, bis der Boden zur Hälfte damit bedeckt ist. Wenn man die Mühle zu voll macht, braucht man zuviel Kraft und es wirkt eher wie ein Axialkugellager...
