The name of the snack caught my eye. Un-junked? Such an unusual name! And then when I bought and opened the packet, I saw that it was fragrant. It was also so tasty - the taste of bhujia but minus the oily after-taste. It did not crumble into powder but retained the bhujia texture. The bhujia is crunchy, mildly salty and spicy and goes well with chai or coffee. It is well worth the price and not having to worry if I'm taking too much oil, salt or spice. A great snack for any afternoon!

Pros 1. It is baked. 2. It doesn't have the after taste of Palm Oil. Cons 1. Too much cardamom. The additional cardamom flavour is so strong that it might make you nauseous. 2. The taste isn't great. It smells like cardamom and tastes like dried red chillies - extremely hot and spicy. There is no middle ground. You cannot taste the pulses or cumin or the tangy ness of other spices. If it had less spices then I guess it would be a perfect snack for people with sensitive palates or compromised digestive system. The manufacturers should look at the spice quantity and composition in the mixture. 3. It is a little crumpy. Doubtful shelf life. Better to store in air tight containers and consume quickly after opening the seal. I think the manufacturers did a great job by eliminating palm oil. But the product still has a few milestones to cross in its journey as a healthy snack.

The product markets itself as very healthy unpicked, no palm oil. FALSE CLAIM , it is a falsely claim , instead of palm oil they are adding cotton seed oil , which is equally dangerous as palm oil. It is the second most used ingredient in the packet. Worst!!. Donr but
