I have real stubborn gray so I bought this just to do my roots. It’s easy to use and the cover is nice. So far so good on hiding my grades. And it blends nice with the other color in my hair, which is a deep purple so it kinda looks natural.

I used to color my roots every 3–5 weeks. Then my daughter-in-law shared this hair color with me and I thought, if my hair is growing and I have to color my roots so often why not use the Demi color that’s easier on my hair because what’s the difference if it washes out or my hair grows out. Something I love about this is that it doesn’t stain my skin like permanent hair color does. My hair is almost black and this product covers my gray hair completely. My hair looks shiny and healthy. I could not be happier and I would use this again and again!

Brown Black is perfect for low lighting and toning! I did two processes. First, low lighting strips of hair and unwanted highlights, leaving the highlights I wanted. I let that process for about 30 minutes. Last, I put the remainder of dye all over leaving on for about three minutes, then straight to the shower. I loved how it neutralized my overall color! Best affordable dye I have ever used!

This is one of the easier at home hair color kits. I use it often. It works great on sensitive skin, I’ve had no irritation after use. The reason for 4 stars is because the color fades fast, even though I use a rather expensive sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.

Better richness of tone than other more expensive brands. Don't waste money on those, this is the ticket if you're looking for demi-permanent color.

Guys! I went to the dark side in September from blonde, I loved the transition from blonde. However I just really was tired of paying salon price to refresh my hair. I started looking into glossing and demi/semi hair dye. I took a chance on this one in the brown black color. The picture of me in the graphic sweatshirt was the first time I tried this product, the results were amazing. I have purchased two times since. I will say that you have to use the product sparingly and it can be a learning process to cover your whole head in the dye. It fades out very nicely and doesn’t look patchy or faded. The photo where I’m in the hat is how it looks 2 months after dyeing. The last photo was taken today after using the product two days ago. I truly love the way this product is so simple and lasts. I will keep using this as long as I want to stay dark.
