Worth the buy!
I was kind of skeptical when I bought this but never regretted it when my husband started using it to buss open big rocks. If you live in the Caribbean you know that you have to level the land you are building on, and let me tell you! This did its job! It broke down big rocks perfectly. This is a very durable, powerful, and necessary tool for construction. It definitely did more than I expected. Oh it looked just like the photo. Very accurate to the description.

Flawless Operation!
I thought this was going to give me trouble by some of the reviews but that was not the case. Took out a 6" thick by 2' high by 6' long, reinforced knee wall in about 4 hours. That was project #1. Have 2 move projects to go but I can't handle the power of this with my fused back. I'll take a rest and go back to it. Great product even with a little oil leak but it looks like normal seepage to me. Thanks for a great product.

great unit
Well like any cheap tool i had my doubts that this would last long. i took a chance and bought it for my gold mining operation. im a small scale gold miner and needed a jackhammer to break the rock out of formation. The unit showed up and was actually a lot bigger then i thought it was going to be. upon opening the package i pretty much threw away everything that came with it safety gear wise.you will need to go buy oil for it, the instructions tell you what to buy, and you can find it at your local auto parts store. i took the unit to my mine site and ran it off of a 3500w generator. the spade bit looks cheap but it took a day worth of beating and showed no signs of wear. the unit is heavy enough that you dont need to use a ton of force to get it into rock. the host "greenstone" rock that my gold vein is in is very very hard. the hammer did a good job of breaking into and spliting this hard rock so it could be moved. overall for the price this hammer is amazing. i would recommend it to anyone and i will be buying another unit. ill be posting a video of this in action in the near future on my you tube channel, poor boys gold mining!! thanks for a great product. About as good as you could expect for the price
I needed this for some light demolition of an above ground concrete duck pond the previous residents had made. It works just fine, but I'm not giving it 5 stars for a couple of reasons. First, on the plus side it works okay from my regular 15 amp outlet on a 12 gauge extension cord. I haven't noticed any problems with that; I suspect it doesn't really draw 2200 watts (although to be safe you should probably use a circuit and extension cord rated for 2200 watts instead of doing what I'm doing). The setup is pretty easy - just add oil, attach a tool according to instructions, and go. I've only used it for about 20 minutes so far but it performs as expected. I'm sure it'll take me a few hours to break up the pond, which I'll need to spread out over a couple of days. Here's why it doesn't get 5 stars: - The case isn't really sturdy enough for this heavy tool. Mine arrived cracked. It's not a big enough deal to bother with a return, but a case you have to handle gingerly just isn't as good as one that is sturdy. - The included gloves, goggles, and face mask are a joke. I wouldn't recommend even trying to use any of them. (Instead you should use your own eye and breathing protection.) So it gets a solid 4 stars for being good enough to save me money compared to renting a tool for several days and being simple to use. I thought it might feel dangerous but it doesn't...it's easy enough to control in an upright position. If I had to drill horizontally I'm sure it would be very difficult and potentially more dangerous.

Cheap tool, worth the price
It blows my mind that it is even possible to make and ship something with a motor and this heavy for how cheap they are selling it! It doesn't come with oil so buy that in advance. I had about a yard worth of slab to chip out at 4-5 inches thick, no rebar. This did the job but was definitely under powered. I'm glad to own the tool though as I've found other needs for a breaker since and it's just nice to have it on hand. Wish I had gotten the one with the grounding rod driving attachment. The ppe that comes with it went straight in the trash, they shouldn't even bother. All of the plastic parts seem to have molding issues but they work and mine came undamaged. The case it comes in is exactly what you'd expect from a product this cheap but it at least latches shut decently.

Ignore the sidewalk supers. This is a very well made product...
Forget the nay sayers with 1 & 2 star reviews. They know not...If you use common sense and If you maintain the oil level (every 2-3 hours) use a 12/3 (yellow) 50' cord to handle the juice ($20 @ home depot) everything is gonna be fine, nothing is gonna burn up and quit. This thing is a quality piece of equipment and well worth the price. After the first cut (the hardest because there was no give in the concrete) it does the rest like butter (well, hard butter) I did a 5" thick x 3' x25' sidewalk with this hammer with no issues what so ever. I punched a hole every 6" across the 3' and then reversed using the same holes. After the 2nd trip back, a nice 1' x 3' piece dropped off. Very happy. My thanks to the workers who put this beast together, and to UPS. The package and the handling was perfect. On a side note, this black model has the very same specs as the red one, and is $15 less...

Worth it!
Great jackhammer for the average DIYโr. I used it to remove an old shower pan that was made of cement and metal mesh. It cut through easily. DO NOT use the pointed bit to pry too much, I ended up breaking the tip off mine but it was still able to get through about three inches of cement easily. I also used the flat bit to remove old tile as well. It performed great with the tile but you will need a bigger flat chisel but for the mortar. It is a bit on the heavy side but it can be handled fairly easily. I bought this because it was only about 25 more than the cost of renting one. Well worth the costs.

Easy on 4 inch concrete!
Made my job a lot easier and faster than chisel and sledgehammer. Tried to rent one from rental place but it was 140 for a day so I bought this one instead. Happy with my purchase.
