New author for me..and not disappointed at all.....

Justin has a lot of bad memories to overcome as far as girl friends go. One leaves then another stands him up at the altar. Now along comes Renee who gets pushed into getting Justin to ask her for a date. After getting a date, she has to really work to get him to talking and getting to know her. He doesn't trust women so it gets off to a very slow start, but in time Renee finally succeeds. He takes her home to meet his family on Thanksgiving and things finally smoothes out. However his sister in law told her she would have to ask him if she wants to marry him so she bough a ring and proposed and he accepted. Very unique story.

Meeting at a church ice social because of a bet might seem a bit strange, but it worked! Renee's friends said they would give her money if she walked up to Justin and got him to ask for a date. So she did, but was sneaky about it and offered him half the money if he took her out....even for just a soft drink or ice cream. This is a fun story and flows nicely to read straight through.

My husband is 12 Years older than me so I get the relationship between Renee and Justin. So adorable and It’s good that the woman can be the brave strong in the relationship. Loved this couple together!

Where to start. Well for one it’s not to tell you the story with my review. I hate that. I want to read the book, not read a review that tells me the basic story. But, I did read some other reviews and thought, “did we read the same book?” It’s not my favorite Liz story and I did think Justin was a jerk a couple times. And as for being immature, at 8 years her elder, he showed to have some immature moments. Tell you what, leave me behind, in the dark to find my way back to the truck and you will be kissing me for the last time. Both immature and a jerk move on his part. Lol I know it’s just a story. As Liz does so often, she writes closer to real life than fantasy. And I suppose that is why he got to be a jerk a few times. I’m glad they got their HEA and yea, Liz gave us the wedding (lacking in other stories)

Renee Martin takes a dare from her cousin Leah and friends to ask Justin Jackman for a date. JUSTIN does not like Leah but he does need a date for an event so he asks her out. I think you will enjoy this story.

Yet again the author Liz Isaacson bring us a real feel good romance to curl up with...... Really enjoyed the main characters and as always she brings others we've meet in her other books..... But even if you haven't read those,it want mess up yourll just want to read them too...... 😊🙋💜🐘
