I recently purchased this product and have nothing positive to say. Once opened from the box- it was a bag of parts. No directions or product information. It took several tools to install, not hard but annoying. The leash extended from the bar quite far and it did not have enough tension to keep the dog close. While riding several walkers and their dogs were on the road. My dog easily extended 6 ft. from the side of the bike, too far for comfort, and surprisingly allowed him to venture when I wanted restraint. There also is no adjustment allowing different breeds, sizes or weight to vary the degree of tension from the bungee leash. Last - it looked as though they installed a cheap bungee cord - which in time will fray and eventually need replacing. I don't know how one would replace the cord, as there is no Mfg or product information.I will not ride with this again - which is a shame as My dog like to run. It just gives to much latitude to the dog and not the rider.

Absolutely love this! Super easy to attach, and you’re still able to unscrew the pole in case you don’t want to use it. I run my 70 lb boxer/mastiff mix using this and it does a decent job absorbing any pulling she does UNLESS we are stopped and she sees something she wants. With some extra training I don’t think it’ll be a problem.

I enjoy using this product so that I can burn some energy and my pit bull can burn energy as well.The bungee cord works very well. My girl didn't want to run any longer so she sat down. I was pedaling but not going anywhere. When I looked back my girl was sitting. Great safety feature.

Tried this model because of cost, but I wasted my money. Major design flaw - device doesn't lock in place like some other models, allowing dog to move device around back of bike if they get spooked and pul hard enough...dangerous. I'm going back to the higher-priced springer model.

My dog loves it and I’m happy that he is calm for the rest of the day. U know what I mean dog lovers)everybody who has a bike and time to spend with ur pet during the day specially in the morning highly recommend to buy this)

Good quality. Still training my gsp to stay focused and not to pay attention to the squirrels. Went over the handlebars once because he saw his favorite mailbox

The black leash is made of a shock cord/ bungee cord material. It broke within the first mile on my first ride. However, it was easy to replace with a higher quality cord material. The metal hardware seems to be fine.
