The J1000 is a low profile (3.5in) aerodynamically designed rack system that can be installed on any Pick-Up Topper & Caps (drilling required). The unique shape of the crossbars minimizes wind noise. The A285 crossbars are reinforced aluminum with channels and can support 400 lbs. Mounting bases are 4" wide made with 11-gauge high strength steel. In total the system weighs in at only 12 lbs.

**Q: why no shipping to hawaii???**
A: This part is available through Amazon Prime. Shipping is available to Hawaii.

**Q: how easy does it mount to a fiberglass cap ?**
A: Mine is mounted on a fiberglass topper.  I didn't have any issues.  For piece of mind I sealed the carriage bolt heads with Marine Goop.  Good luck.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the crossbars? I have relatively small brackets on my J-cradles and want to make sure they will fit.**
A: The crossbar for this rack are 60" x 2.5" x 1.5"

**Q: How thick are the crossbars?**
A: The crossbars are 2.25" wide.
