Good quality—thick insulation on the wire itself.

I usually turn to Royal Excelene welding cable for my cable needs, but lately it's gone way up in price (yes, spot Copper has too, though perhaps not at the same rate).But, the good price had me looking for alternatives as I needed to build a new audio system, so I gave this stuff a try. The only major "complaint" I have is the thickness of the jacket. I always wrap my main power wire in tech flex and paired with this wire, it turned 4 gauge into 1/0. This became a slight nuisance when running and hiding the cable down the interior. My second "complaint" is the clear inner sheathing. This probably serves a purpose but it proves annoying in use, as it has to be removed for an electrical connection but also any sharp blade against it can also cut the copper right underneath.On the plus side, the insulation is tough, so if you tend to skip the expandable flex look stuff over your wires, they will probably be safe anyway.

Good, solid copper. Ran it from the battery to the back of the truck for a winch. Ampage works perfectly.

Pure copper, thick shielding and temperature is next to my engine... the perfect length from my battery, under the cab and up to the back of my extended cab.
