I bought a one piece by the same brand that she will wear under these. Figured we would layer for more confidence. They are expensive but will be worth it if they work. I will report back after camp in two weeks to confirm. The swimsuit I bought her was an XS but I purchased the shorts in a S because she is very lean but has some muscle in her butt and legs. She likes the way they fit dry but hasn’t worn them swimming yet. Says they are very comfortable. Material is thick and good quality. Hoping they work as intended and don’t leak at all! As with all swimsuit and period clothing, I intend to wash in a lingerie bag in the machine washer on delicate with a specific swimsuit detergent, and hang to dry in order to maintain its protective qualities.
