I bought this trimmer to replace one made by ToiletTree that I had for seven years. This previous one was much more sturdy and had more heft, as it was made of aluminum. However, when it fell down the head with the blade broke, and I was unable to find a replacement online. Which is why I bought this one. Like my old one, I really like that this one will accept a single AA battery for power. That means it’s easy to recharge, by just exchanging the battery. I don’t like devices with built-in batteries that are not use or replaceable, so a device with a replaceable battery is always a blast for me. I also like the different heads that it comes with which my old trimmer definitely did not come with. As for the level of noise, is pretty much the same compared to my old one, so no change there. All in all, while I think that this new trimmer is more flimsy, I appreciate the number of heads that it comes with, as well as the fact that it can still be powered with replaceable AA batteries. I cannot speak to durability, as I have only owned it for a few weeks.

I’ve always bought nose hair trimmers that are half the price of this and I’ve never been impressed. Some of them have had fantastic reviews, been good brands etc, but they’ve been.. okay. I was primarily concerned with a few little stubborn hairs at the base of my nostrils that no one else likely even notices, but they bug me. I have often had to make do with the job my nose hair trimmer has done, because they don’t really fully get them. This did it easily. Then I tried some of the other attachments, and it whizzed around those irritating hairs on my ears, without me risking accidentally trimming the hair on my head. That’s actually been a pain in the past as I have longer hair, but this actually did it work much more precision and I felt confident doing it. I tidied up around my beard and realised this is a great little product and I wish I’d bought one years ago.
