Probably not! All grass likes some sun and water - pine trees tend to shed a resin that grass does not like. It's not expensive so give it a trial

What setting on a evergreen spreader on a existing lawn which I just want to recover patches due to moss which now left me patches on my lawn?

When over-seeding we would suggest sowing the seed by hand rather than using a spreader as some areas may need different amounts of seed compared to others.
