I condition my hair with this in the shower, get all the tangles out, rinse it through, then before getting out of the shower, I slather on more of it and leave it in and towel my hair off once out of the shower. I have been using Mixed Chicks leave in + redifining foam which are great for control, structure and making my curls curlier/springier but I don't love the scent. This product makes my hair very soft, even if I put it on dry, adds a lot of shine and does seem to ease my curls, which balances out some of my mixed pattern issues. I seem to be in the minority on this but I also think it smells realy great! Kind of a suble Egyptian Musk thing going on. Will continue to buy and alternate with MC.
