Update: I ordered another opal and was surprised to see it was even better than the first one I received. Seller included a bonus chunk along with it. Much appreciated. Original review: Seems to be exactly what I ordered. I wasnt sure if I'd actually get an opal or just a rock as there are a lot of sellers on here that aren't very reputable according to the reviews. However, I can confirm I received an opal. It seems to be a welo. Its slightly sticky feeling when wet, it becomes more translucent, it's very fragile (after getting wet, a small piece slid off the whole while looking at it.) all of these things are properties of a welo rough Ethiopian opal. Very pretty, I think it was worth the money, I only ordered 1 and the size was 27.55 cts, maybe about 1.5 inches long x 1 inch wide. I've included pictures of the opal. One under black light.

Not worth the money. Looks nothing like the picture and what I did get has very little color to it. I am not going to buy this garbage on Amazon anymore, only in person purchases from now on.

This is nice Etheopian opal, which is milky white, not a black opal as the picture implies. Look up Etheopian opal for a relistic expectation.

Did not get anything close to anything it shows in the description. I know rocks come in all shapes, types and sizes but what I got is garbage rock. Nothing opal about this.

I've learned that when ordering rough opal online, set your expectations very low. And do NOT expect to receive what is pictured. Until now I have been mostly disappointed with the items I received. But Tindi has changed that! I am in no way disappointed with the items I received! they are exquisite specimens and were received well ahead of expected delivery times with an included gift. I have placed them at the very top of my list for rough Opal. They can certainly expect more business from me!

Arrived earlier then expected even included a free gift. Mine opal didn't even remotely look like the picture!!! Really disappointed after getting rid of the waste on it!! Waste of money and time!!!

These guys made good on the product. While it still was not the opal in the picture, it was a very nice stone. I would and am considering buying in bulk if they continue this type of quality.
