This original design wooden ram pendant is hand carved in Desert Ironwood, a hardwood that can be found only in very remote parts of Arizona desert, a wood highly diverse in colors and patterns, making this pendant unique and one of a kind. This particular wood tends to darken with age. By the time you will receive this pendant the wood might have settled into darker brown shades. The colors look more vivid in bright natural light versus artificial light, where the tones are a little darker and more subdued. This pendant measures approximately 1.25" tall by 1.5" wide. The pendant comes with an adjustable 17-19" black satin cord with lobster clasp, ready to wear.The pendant is sealed with three or more layers of wood lacquer in order to protect the wood against moisture and the environment. The lacquer makes the pendant moisture resistant, but not waterproof.
