I’m very impressed with the Aquastrong 1 HP Sump Pump. It has strong pumping power and moves a large amount of water quickly, making it useful for draining pools, ponds, flooded areas, basements, and other water removal needs. The pump feels well-built and durable, and the 10-foot power cord provides good flexibility when setting it up. It is easy to use, portable, and works efficiently for both routine water maintenance and emergency situations. I especially like that it can handle high-volume water removal without taking a long time. The only downside is that the pump can be a little bulky, and you need to make sure you have the correct hose connection for your setup. However, once connected properly, it performs very well. Overall, this is a powerful and reliable utility pump that gets the job done. It’s a great tool to have for pool maintenance, gardening, and unexpected water removal needs.

I purchased this pump during some real bad storms. Put it in my basement window well and it pumped the water right out! It worked Awesome!! Then when we opened up our pool we used it to pump off the water sitting on top of the pool cover and again it worked perfectly. When pulling it out and turning it over to clear some leaves I must have tilted it just enough for the handle to pop off. It dropped and a piece broke. The handle snapped back on. I reached out to The Aqua Strong company and they responded quickly and replaced my pump with in days. Great Pump, Great Customer service!

use this to drain my spa when changing the water. works great better then my older model. the intake on this one is flat on the bottom and pulls most of the water out of the spa fast.

Runs amazing and flows so well. The cord was a great length. All parts needed were there. Note when you change the connecting head with the one it starts with remove the ruber o ring and install it on the other head.

I purchased this pump to drain my in ground pool in order to clean up a DE mess caused by a cracked filter manifold. The pump works very well and is only limited by the hose diameter. The top handle allows it to be easily moved about. It seems to be well constructed and quiet running. A very good value for the price.

It works just fine! It emptied the pool so we could clean it out from the tarp sinking into the pool from so much ice.

Just used this in a small 8 by 6 foot cement pond that was full of water, leaves and mud and it worked great! Did not log at all. There is now about 2 inches of heavy wet muck that I need to shovel out but again I’m amazed at how fast the pump drained the pond and it didn’t clog at all.

This pump worked great. I have a 23,000 gallon pool we are taking out and it did the job in less than 17 hrs. Price was fair and the pump worked with a Superior flat hose and its connection. I gave this pump 4 stars for one reason. The power cord is TOO SHORT! Ten foot cord is not long enough for a inground pool. If your promoting for use on inground pools the power cord should be 25 feet. See photo. I attached a pull string or you can use a rope to the power cord and tied it off so the extension plug could not hit the water. This was a safety issue because I was not looking to get BBQed. If you buy this pump which worked great be prepared to tie off a safety string and then you adjust the string tension as you lower the pump deeper in the pool. And shut off the pump when your adjusting it to go deeper to the center just in case it slips before you tie off the power cord. Don't mess with the electric. Also I used a superior flat hose from Amazon. The superior connectors worked side ways and not up. but they did fit. Also order the 100ft flat hose if you get one. The 25 foot just barely made it to the fence. Pending your yard and where your letting the water run will determine which size. I DO NOT recommend you use a garden hose because your probably looking at 2 1/2 days or more to drain pending your pool size. Just remember to tie off the power cord to protect yourself and from shorting out. see the photos. Otherwise this was a great pump and strong.

This pump is much better than what you're going to find at C******* T***. Trust me, I found out the hard way. In the middle of a rainstorm+flooding, this pump saved me from a world of hurt when it came to being able to pump out water much better and faster than it's competitor, at a much better price point. It's easy to setup, works well with a smart switch or float, and is indispensable. If you have water problems, this will help. Not much to assemble either and it ships quickly.

This little pump is mighty! We use it to drain out hot tub. Works like a charm. Highly recommend

Very good. I just submerged it into the rain barrel after attaching a hose and off it went. I watered my plants easily.

This pump works well and pumps the water twice as fast as a previous one I had that is the same size but 3 times the price. So I'm pretty happy with this pump. My other one lasted 15 years, so let's see how long this one lasts.
