Good value for money. Gives you elegant touch. Using app is bit confusing, but everything’s good so far.

Good quality and works quite well within limits but too heavy and bulky for me.
I was fascinated by the idea of a smart watch that looked so much like a regular watch and it is very clever. Easy to get going with once you download the fossil app, it does a bit of updating and sets the time for you automatically ( a bit spooky seeing the hands turn by themselves)You can have it In fitness mode where it counts your steps or music mode where the buttons give you control over your music. The music works really well, you can play and pause and turn the volume up and down. It connected to Spotify and my iPhone 5s no problem and I could control my Sonos speaker with it when playing through Spotify. However, it is a bit bulkier than I was hoping for. It’s not rechargeable so the battery will need to be changed periodically and I’m guessing the battery that adds a lot of weight and bulk to the watch face. I tried it for a week but I just couldn’t couldn’t get used to it and have returned to my Fitbit Alta.

Looks good, okay smart functions
We've not previously tried a hybrid smartwatch (i.e. one that has an analogue smartwatch but does 'smart' things) so weren't sure what to expect; we've been used to my Apple watch and my wife's Fitbit Versa. This is a completely different kind of watch, and has its plus points and minus points. All of the config is done via the app that you download, which is fairly easy; you then have to set it up in the app so that the watch will do what you want.Step-tracking is built in, as is a sleep-tracker; the step tracker seems to tie in roughly with my wife's Versa if she wears both, so seems to be accurate. Smart functions however are a bit trickier. In terms of e.g. text alerts, you configure the app with a number of names, each of which corresponds to a number on the watch dial; if you receive a text from a person on that list then the hand moves to that number on the watch -- so, for instance, I am set to '1' on this, so if I text my wife then the hand moves to the number one. This is a bit restrictive, but works well. All in all, this is quite a good hybrid watch. It looks nice and quite feminine (although it is a bit on the large side), the tracking works well, and the smart functions are ... okay. A hybrid will never be as good as a watch with a digital display as there are fewer ways of displaying information, so if you accept that then this is a perfectly good watch. Four stars.

Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch Q Virginia
An attractive watch. Would have liked a date on it. I have found the bracelet hard to take off and it took a while to work out how to undo it to put it on in the first place. The timekeeping is accurate because it synchs off the internet via your smartphone. I have only used the step counter app, but it can also alert you when you get texts or emails. However, the watch is complicated to set up and there are no written instructions. The app isn't very intuitive and doesn't help much.
