NONE of these hydration systems except Pawaii comes with very stringent NSF certification (Pawaii is owned by Waterdrop which manufactures human water filters and reverse osmosis systems). This is not a Vine review; I paid for these filters. Sure, the marketers of competing non-NSF systems espouse "ultra" filtering and other flowery words, but never provide any proof of performance. By the way, the basic non-WiFi $35.99 fountain is excellent. Very little noise except for the babbling brook of water that starts up when an animal walks by it, which encourages cats to drink; many cats don't drink enough water if they eat only kibble. Less tech to potentially fail and eat battery power. Easy to clean and change the filter. I rated it 5 stars. Some others, like the Petlibro, have very loud motors that can scare some cats; the Petlibro filters are much more expensive and harder to change. Other filters for generic fountains are often useless. My rating system: 5 Stars = Knocks it out of the park. A great value! 4 Stars = Excellent product.
