Great little Amp with huge amount of features and positives. For sound it totally blows away my old Vox DA5. It's got a looper and Drumbeats.It's built like tank so made for outdoor use if you like. Takes pedals better than a Boss Katana and has features which rival their top of the range Katanas like Line out only available on EX range and above. Sounds better than a Katana ( that's my opinion which some might care to differ). Anyhow it's all you need for practice or busking. Can be loud or very quiet becase Master Volume switch has a smooth good range ( better than Vox ever had). Versatile range of Amp models all sound good and Bass is strong and clear on all settings. Use CLEAN for pedals. Even has an Acoustic Amp model. Brilliant!

Baught for my 1st jamming session my band mates all laughed when they saw it as it's small in comparison to your average amp. When they saw how well it worked.... They all want one. Works well with standard guitar also. Oh and if you're using it just to practice, You actually get more then 4hour battery life if you don't blast it, I can't tell you exactly how many more hours because I'm still waiting for the battery to die down. Still running! You want this one guys ,👌

I had to send this item back as there were some issues & a refund is on the way. I bought it after extensive research & product reviews, & I will be attempting to buy it again in the hope that the reported issues are resolved.🤞🏻 As a multi-instrument musician I bought this for the variety of capabilities & the rechargeable battery /portability as the watt output seemed good + effects & drum beats with looper peddle added to possibilities in performing. The reviews covered most aspects apart from the drum offerings, & I wasn’t sure if mine was broken in transit, as the tempo button only seemed to halve or double the origional tempos listed on menu in the booklet. The other issue was lack of markings in this dial. Consistently finding the correct beat with no dial marker was hit & miss considering 32 options were listed. Even a numerical one would have helped and referring to a sticker or the booklet would be better, + a distinctive plain 3/4 beat would be a good addition. An extra input port for a guitar & a mic simultaneously would be an extra help, but there’s a lot going on with this JOYO amp as it is, & perhaps this may compromise the other elements in offer. (If the next order is undamaged, I will add gold permanent marker for reference.) 🤞🏻 Other than that & a couple of other matters (regarding cables) the reviews were spot on. It’s value for money & seems a decent & versatile portable practice / SMALL gig venue amp to use as a soloist, one person band, or with restrained/classical group. Will report back on 2nd attempt of purchase after a thorough run through & re-review the situation.

Good quality well built all metal construction. Bluetooth allows you to play music back from phone/tablet. No downloadable presets which I think is a positive some modelling amps lead to choice paralysis. Watched a lot of reviews before buying mostly positive seems the only players who didn’t like it were metal/heavy types maybe due to lack of bottom end grunt. I mostly play through blues/clean channels and it suits me fine. Built in rechargeable battery is great just pick it up and practice anywhere.

Great amp for any guitar and also connects to Bluetooth and can be used as speaker. Only down fall is it dosnt record for long. Not sure if I haven't figured it out correctly but as of now it doesn't

Look at that cute little thing in the picture! That and your bass are all you need to be ready to go practice. Functionality? Great. Easy to use right out of the box. Value? Hey, it costs as much as one fairly good effects pedal, but it is a portable amp that can be charged, has multiple effects, a basic drum machine, compressor, looper, Bluetooth AND has multiple input/outputs. You could even use it as a pre-amp in a pinch. Phone connection was no problem, nor was outputing to a mixer. The build is very solid, uncluttered and attractive for the computer-interface averse, like me. It has sizable knobs & buttons with adequate inputs & outputs. No scrolling or menu diving on tiny screens with multiple pages--which is awesome! It's about as portable as a gallon of milk, which is perfect for impulse writing or practice, and it has adequate punch for low-key practice or busking. All the bells & whistles are very basic, but for for practicing I think basic is better. I used to have to take out my drum machine, my 45watt amp, looper & multiple effects pedals, and ALL the cords & power cables & batteries to connect and power everything just to practice by myself or with bandmates. Now I just grab the thing and one 1/4" cable to connect the bass and go. Today I sat in the shade of a tree at a lovely park and practiced for hours. No muss, no fuss. Sound quality: Not great, unless you like really bright high end and ultra-digital sound. Almost every setting has some degree of distortion. This is the exact opposite of a tube amp. If you want smooth, clean, powerful reverberating sound with subtle harmonics and long decaying notes, you will be disappointed. But for practice & songwriting it's definitely adequate, with enough tone futzing and switching of the amp-style knob you can sorta facsimilate a cool, clean tone. I originally rated it 4-stars for "tone", but now I don't think that's fair. It's just 219 bucks! I've warmed to it. Battery life is ok (for now). 4.4 amp hours should be fine for a few years. I like to use it plugged in at home most of the time, but it's been on a couple of low-key, four-hour long practice outings with just the internal battery (emphasis low-key practices hanging out at someone's apartment or house). No problems at all. BUT competing with a live rock drummer would be tough even at max volume. For those practices I bring my much clunkier 45w amp. The price and convenience make it very much worth the price in my opinion. When you're practicing, especially at the beginner and intermediate levels you don't want set-up to be any kind of obstacle. You must like your gear too. I like this little amp with its portable, built to last feel and attractive look. If you have an apartment, man-cave or attic and want to privately rock out without getting the cops called on you, this is definitely a must have.

Just received this amp and spent a couple hours with it. The looper is 30 seconds but that's plenty of time for me typically. The drum machine sounds good and has a lot of variety. The amp tones run from acoustic (completely clean) to Heavy Metal, with plenty of adjustments for each tone. This is not a toy - it has plenty of great sounds and tools to help you write songs, play in a small room (not in a band setting) with your acoustic or electric. This amp is NOT something you would use for a full band practice or to play live, but I don't think that should be expected at this price point. This is a great little amp for many purposes, just don't expect it to be more than it is. Battery life is still to be tested but but just the fact that can run on a rechargeable battery is a huge benefit.

No buyer remorse here. Excellent tone and plenty of power. Included looper is above bonus at this price.
