Fit perfectly, worked well

This motor fixed the issue with my wire feed stuttering. The old motor would randomly stop when welding causing the Weld to look bad. This fixed it and was very quick and easy to install.

Firstly, I'm not a welder. I ordered this hoping it would fit in my very old Chicago Electric 90 amp welder. The welder never really fed the wire properly so I could never get a good weld. Well, this feed motor did not fit my welder. I decided to check if I could interchange some of the parts and low and behold the drive roll is an exact fit. When I dissembled the original feed assembly I noticed that the roller was different than the new. I went to google why the difference and learned that flux core rollers should have a "toothed" roller and mine was the smooth one....I never changed it so that it how it came from the store. I replaced it with the one that came with this assembly and I now have a properly feeding flux core wire. Needless to say, I am super happy!!!. This assembly saved me from spending money on a new welder or just giving up on welding totally. Hats off to this company. Well worth the $17.00 especially since getting replacement parts for this welder is no longer an option.
