DeWalt PressuReady 3400 PSI Gas Pressure Washer, 2.5 GPM, 25-ft Hose

I’ve used a lot of pressure washers over the years, and the DeWalt DXPW3400PRNB-S PressuReady 3400 PSI gas pressure washer has been one of the best “grab it and get it done” machines I’ve owned. The power is no joke 3400 PSI makes quick work of nasty driveway grime, algae on concrete, muddy siding, and even caked-on gunk on wheels and equipment. What sold us, though, was the push-start feature and the automatic turn-off. That combo is a game-changer. The push start makes it feel way more user-friendly (especially when you’re in and out doing different sections of a job), and the auto shutoff is such a smart feature with less hassle, more peace of mind, and it just feels like it’s designed for real people who don’t want to fight with equipment. It also runs smooth and consistent. It doesn’t bog down when you’re leaning into tough spots, and it has that sturdy, jobsite-ready vibe (frame feels solid, not flimsy). Setup was straightforward, and once it’s going, it’s the kind of washer you can run for a while without babysitting it. Pros: • Strong cleaning power (great for concrete, decks, fences, vehicles) • Push-start is AMAZING (seriously convenient) • Automatic turn-off adds safety + saves hassle • Feels durable and well-made • Makes big jobs go noticeably faster Cons (not deal-breakers, just real life): • Like most gas units, it’s louder than electric • You’ll want to be mindful of storage space—this isn’t a “tiny garage shelf” tool • Gas + maintenance is the tradeoff for real power Bottom line: If you want a serious home/DIY workhorse that can handle real outdoor cleaning without struggling, this DeWalt is worth it. The power is great, but the push-start + auto shutoff is what truly made us pick it and we’re glad we did.

READ THE SET UP INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! Do yourself a favor and get a 50ft 3/8 4000psi hose and quick connects for the hose and gun. Check torque on mounting bolts two vibrated loose on me within 10 hours of use. The unit goes into standby if not in use for 10 seconds and then after holding down the trigger the unit will automatically adjust the choke and power back on, the auto shutoff CAN’T be adjusted. This uses more battery than I was expecting but saves probably 20-30% gas compared to similar sized units that stay on. If it’s not relatively level this will trigger the low oil/gas sensor and you’ll need to clear the error codes. Highly recommend letting it sit for 15-20 minutes after refilling gas looks like it can burnout electronics with excessive use but I haven’t had any issues like other reviewers. I use this unit professionally now that cities/HOAs are getting uptight with higher gpm consumption units. Definitely a prosumer unit with features no one else really offers at this price point.

This was not the pressure washer I wanted from dewalt but it was only one available. I really like the concept of machine shuts down when not in use and restarts when trigger is pulled (electric start). It did work on the first day but second day, had to manually start 3 different people read directions to insure we were operating correctly, no luck now I’m back to where I was before I got, manually starting machine no help on service line, unable to return for money back so I’m stuck we will attempt to take off electronic junk and make electric start operated with ignition switch not a dewalt guy and this explains why.

Love it. One of its kind. It will be awesome if this came with a 50 feet hose to get a 6 out of 5 stars.

Great pressure washer. My only complaint is it requires you purchase an expensive battery and charger for the automatic start stop functions to work. Wish it just used a standard 12v lead acid battery. But overall very good

This model is better use designed then previous. I don't use the battery start, as I am more familiar with the manual ... it is a breeze! I use this equipment about 3 times a week. Very pleased!

You would think for almost $800 there would be a better mounting mechanism for the spray nozzle. Constantly having to adjust it . No battery included? I have lots of Dewalt tools so for me personally it was no big deal. I actually tried using this pressure washer today and spent most of the afternoon on the support line with some one reading the same support book I was reading. Bad investment. Pure absolute junk. I would not recommend this to any.
