Good wood.
Good quality wood. Some pieces may be slightly warped but can be fixed. Easy to paint. Great value for the price.

Excellent Quality Basswood Sheets for Laser Projects!
The Basswood Sheets exceeded my expectations! I bought them to use with my laser printer, and they work perfectlyโclean cuts, smooth surfaces, and consistent thickness across all sheets. The wood is high quality and easy to work with, making it great for engraving, crafting, and model projects. Itโs a fantastic value for the quantity and quality you get. Highly recommend for anyone doing laser or woodworking projects!

The best "budget" 3mm wood I've found yet
There's some minor warping, as will happen on any 3mm boards. Some warping could be prevented by packaging them in smaller groups of shrinkwrapped sets (e.g. 36 could be 6 shrink-wrapped packs of 6). Instead, these are packaged all together in a cardboard box with no shrinkwrap. But overall this wood cuts like butter -- I haven't had any flareups yet -- and the color is noticeably warmer (and marks better) than other cheap basswood I've found. This will be my go-to for "bulk" wood going forward. The surface veneers also have a beautiful grain.

Great when fresh from the box, but they warp if left loose
I enjoy using these sheets to make templates for my leather work, as well as small boxes and scale models for room arrangements. I like the clean quality of the sheet's surface, and have only noticed an occasional void that, luckily, didn't present a structural problem. My biggest issue is the warp. Fresh from the tightly packed box, these lay very flat and are a joy to use. But once a few sheets are used and the stack becomes loose, the boards start to warp. The warp can be corrected with steam, but it's a major loss of time and general PITA to have to do this each time I want to laser cut a new item. And like many steamed items, unless there is reinforcement to ensure proper alignment, there is a chance the board will try to twist again and return to its relaxed state. Will I buy this pack again? Yes, probably, because the surface is very nice, and the few flat items I laser cut - mostly templates and display signs for vending - won't be affected by the twist.

Excellent Basswood for Laser Cutting: Consistent Quality, Easy to Work With
I've been using these basswood sheets in my laser cutting business for several months now, and I'm consistently impressed with their quality.Consistent Thickness: The sheets are remarkably uniform in thickness, which is crucial for precise laser cuts. This minimizes the risk of inconsistent cuts and ensures a professional finish on my projects.Clean Cuts: Basswood cuts beautifully with my laser. It produces clean, smooth edges with minimal charring, reducing the need for extensive post-processing.Versatility: I've used these sheets for a wide range of projects, from intricate 3D models to delicate ornaments and functional items.Good Value: The price is competitive for the quality, making it a cost-effective option for my laser cutting needs.Overall: I highly recommend these basswood sheets to any laser cutter user. Their consistent quality, ease of use, and versatility make them an excellent choice for a wide range of projects.

Poor Quality Material
Unfortunately, the product that was delivered was very different than what was advertised on the amazon listing. The first issue was that nearly every board in the pack of 36 were warped. I think this was due to the fact that the pack of basswood came in a cardboard box and was not wrapped in plastic inside the box. This of course allowed the wood to absorb lots of moisture as it was being shipped.. Also, since it was not bound in any way, it was allowed to twist. The second issue, which is more of a problem, is that this material is not suited for laser cutting. In manufacturing, they must have used some type of glue that the laser cannot penetrate. The result is many failed jobs because portions of the design does not cut all the way through. I tried several sheets from the top, middle, and bottom of the pack. I had the same results. Both the warping and inability for a laser to cut through the material makes this product unusable. , however the product title says that the material is for laser engraving and cutting.

Cuts clean and engraves well
The wood is perfect for using with my 10w diode laser. It cuts clean and engraves well. Even the delicate pattern of the earrings I made looked great cut from this wood.
