It is huge! As a beginner working out, it is great when doing yoga to not fond yourself suddenly off the mat. If more advanced, it is easy to set up for circuits. I used it for stretching, yoga, pilates, bosu and terra core workouts. It is versatile. It is durable - I've used with and without shoes, moved with it 3 times, and set equipment on it. It is thicker than a usual yoga mat, but not so think that you feel like you are on a balance mat. It is easy to store or set up if you don't have space to leave it out. It had a mild smell when I first got it, but it resolved in a few days. I just use regular yoga mat cleaner and have even vacuumed it from time to time (I have cats). I've recommended it to many friends and highly suggest that of you are looking for a workout mat that you consider this.
