Perfect Trick for Beautiful Hydrangea Centerpieces!
used alum powder to keep my hydrangeas vibrant and fresh for centerpieces—and it worked like a charm! Dipping the stem ends in alum before placing them in water really helped them stay perky and colorful longer. Such an easy, natural solution that made a big difference. Good quality and quantity for the price
The texture of this alum is pretty coarse so I threw it in my coffee grinder to break it down. Then I sifted it through a mesh screen so it would just be the powder as some of it still didn’t break down in that go. Then I mix a rose hip essential oil infused water with the powder to make a paste that I blot into my face with a cotton ball. It would be nice if it came as a finely ground powder upfront. I can feel the tightening on my skin almost immediately after applying the paste and after washing the paste off 15-20 minutes later my skin texture is so smooth and bright. I would’ve given 5 stars except for the coarse texture of this alum.

Great stuff for aquarium plants
This is magic stuff, use it for a soak for new aquarium plants before adding to aquarium, prevents introducing snails etc to my tank.

Alum powder has magical properties!
I had a watch crown (winder) that had a stem broken in it and I did some research and found that Alum powder can be used dissolve the steel! Thought I would give it a go as the crown was unique. The crown was put in a solution of Alum and water, I then heated it for about 18 hours at 80 degrees. It worked! The broken part dissolved and I was able to reuse the crown

Hydrangeas lasting into second week
Bought to use with hydrangeas. Worked well. Dip clean stem in and add to Oasis for flower arrangements. Into second week so happy.
