Black, white and green peppercorns all come from pepper berries. The color and flavor of the peppercorns vary according to timing of the harvest and the processing afterwards. Pink peppercorns are not true peppercorns but are the dried berries of a shrub in the cashew family. The flavor of Peppercorn Mélange is a blend of fruity sweetness and layers of spicy heat. Use whole or crushed in recipes calling for black peppercorns. Or, use to fill a clear peppermill to grinding over salad, pasta, meat and vegetables at the table. Favorite pepper
Couldn't get this for a while and tried another brand with the same 4 colors. No comparison. This is my pepper. Use it on everything, especially salads. Very flavorful & complex - it doesn't rely on the hot "pepper" flavor but it has that. The other I tried was more like just black pepper - mostly hot spice and less flavor.

Bottle smashed when received
Don’t know what I was thinking when I ordered this. Made the purchase because of the small amount. The bottle was crushed … it looked like the package was run over by a vehicle and there is a no refund policy on this purchase. Will purchase the peppercorns in the plastic zip bag going forward. DISAPPOINTED !!!

I didn’t like the tase and doesn’t come with grinder lid
I won’t buy this again. I don’t care for the taste I would describe it as gamey. The taste makes me think of eating antelope or deer which I thought was weird. Oh and the lid does not have a grinder… so if you want whole peppercorns on your food this might be the stuff for you.
