Looks MUCH nicer than expected at $39
I got this for my teen son and didn't really want to go the route of anything expensive since he may not actually wear it. The price point of $39 is right in line with what I wanted, but I had no idea what to expect in terms of quality. I was really pleasantly surprised by this watch. APPEARANCE This watch is stainless steel with a silver dial. The glass is multi-faceted / beveled which gives a really nice effect. It also has an anti-glare coating on it which is a really nice touch at this price point. All of the numbers and tick marks are well done and nothing looks shoddy at all. BRACELET The bracelet clasp is a little goofy in that it requires two snaps rather than one. It's not a big deal but I don't really like this aspect of it. Otherwise the bracelet appears well made and adjustments by removing links is very easy. TIME and DATE The time and date are easily adjusted with the single knob, everything is quite precise in terms of the gearing and mechanics. ADJUSTMENT It comes with a tool to remove the links, it's easy to do. OVERALL Unless somebody knows watches, this watch even up close looks more expensive than it is. I was really surprised by how nice the whole thing is. The size of the watch will work for somebody with an average build. If you're a big dude, overweight, etc...the size of the watch may be too small. FIVE stars for this all around based on the quality of the watch and the price. This is ideal for somebody that is NOT looking for a brand name watch but still wants something that looks good.
