Fera Pets Organic Probiotics for Dogs & Cats with Prebiotics, 60 Scoops

This is far better than purinas forti flora. I've always had a large amount of cats in my house, many with digestive issues. Fortiflora, as much as it was prescribed by the vet as a solution, it never helped. Not the old or the young cats and the price was just ridiculous. I bought this because my Cuban rescued cat was having diarrhea for the longest time and when I tried to switch food it shot out as pour liquid. 3 days of this stuff fixed the problem. Only 3 days and less than half the scoop they recommend. The only con is that it isn't flavored. My cat wouldn't touch it and would go to anyone of her 5 siblings bowls to eat. I just started putting it in all of the food bowls. I'm amazed at the temper change. She is loving all over her brother's so much they are worried!

I’ve been using this Fera Pets probiotic powder for a while now for both my dog and cat, and the results have been fantastic. Finding a supplement that works equally well for two completely different animals isn't easy, but this one hits the mark. The powder consistency is great it doesn't clump up like some others I've tried, and it mixes perfectly into their daily meals. My cat is incredibly picky and will usually refuse her bowl if anything smells "off," but she eats right through this without a second thought. Both pets have had much happier stomachs, better regularity, and just overall excellent digestive health since we started using it. The fact that it's vet-formulated and organic gives me total peace of mind. Will definitely keep this in our rotation.

We foster kittens & were dealing with ringworm (a fungal infection) for months amongst the 8 cats & kittens in my home. Ringworm is a pain in the butt for the human caretakers (all that cleaning!!). It’s also contagious to humans (I got it on my FACE right before we hosted Thanksgiving!!). And the cats were miserable too, scratching themselves to the point of bleeding. I came to the realization that the only kittens, cats, & human that ended up with ringworm had been on antibiotics of some sort (oral or eye drops) within the previous 3 months. That made a lot of sense to me because every time I take antibiotics I get a fungal infection (ladies, you know what I’m talking about!). So in an effort to stop the back & forth spread of ringworm infection, I thought I’d try supplementing the cats/kittens with probiotics. The vet had given the Purina probiotics to one of my previous foster kittens for his diarrhea, but it’s $30 for five packets, which is literally 5 days worth for one cat. I can’t afford that on an ongoing basis since there are so many cats in my home (I must sound crazy lol,) but when I found this product & saw all the positive reviews I figured it couldn’t hurt. First off, I was REALLY surprised that every cat ate their food after I had sprinkled on the probiotics. Even Bella ate it, & she doesn’t eat anything (I call her Little Miss PickyPants.) I suggest not mixing it into their food until you k ow whether or not your animal will eat it. Previously, I had made a Tupperware full of cat food & sprinkled in some Lysine, which is supposed to help their immune systems. However er, NONE of my cats would touch it, & I wasted a LOT of money because it was the “good stuff” that they usually love! I’m happy to report that these probiotics are making a difference! The ringworm has cleared up, their fur has grown back, & I haven’t seen any new lesions! The kittens I receive to foster are often sick & on antibiotics, so from now on I will ALWAYS make sure to put these probiotics in their food, whether they’re sick or not!! It’s so well priced that I can even use it preventatively on ALL the cats/ kittens, & not just when they’re on antibiotics. I’m very pleased with this purchase—- it’s a great product at a great price!!

It has taken some time, but I do feel that I see improvements with my Frenchie's gut health. We have changed her food a few times, but we are set now and the constant has been the Fera Pets Probiotics.

I really can't say that I KNOW that it is benenficial. I have owned 3 dogs of the same breed, and 1 never got this suppliment, while the other 2 daily took it in their food. I do know that the dog that I never gave it to, years ago, was not as bright and healthy in his coat and skin, or body, and had chronic digestive issues. These other two dogs that have been getting this ever since they were little, have no skin or allergy issues, and gut health seems to be excellent. I also feed them a very careful healthy diet. That is by no means a scientific experiment, since one was not a well bred dog and recieved a different diet, and the others have extremely superior breeding and a very careful diet. So... Neither dog that use this indicated that there was an off-putting taste. Both dogs had/have (regular healthy poops and digestion as in no diarrhea or gassiness). Both dogs have beautiful glossy coats, no dander, and no skin allergy issues. The vet always raves over their over-all health and beauty. One of these 2 dogs always had really bad breath, while the other always has fresh breath (both have excellent oral health)- the vet says that is simply a difference in dogs. So, there certainly isn't any harm in the Prebiotics, and I BELIEVE in the power of prebiotics, so I continue to purchase for my pets. I don't know how to answer to durability - I have put some premixed food in the freezer, and there seemed to be no ill effects. Ingredients is rather the same answer - I believe that they are helping, but that's not very scientific. In short - I researched for a product that had certain ingredients that were agreed on, across the board, as being very beneficial to dogs, and I found them in this product. I have purchased it for many years now, and intend to continue to use this product.

Even though Is a good product according to ingredients and reviews , it didn't work for my dog . Her poop is too soft and owners itching got worst . I stopped it and not hep poop is formed again .

My 10 month old Italian Greyhound puppy has very sensitive stomach and he's refusing to take probiotics because all of them has some kind of smell or flavor. I bought them as chews and powders. This amazing probiotic is odorless, has no flavor and also organic. My puppy eats his food with the probiotic without realizing that I mixed it in. Amazing product! Very happy customer. Thank you!

One of my cats has a sensitive stomach which can cause her to have very runny waste that smells really bad. This really helps with giving her more consistent bowel movements. I just drop a scoop in wet food and mix it up and she happily eats it. There's no smell or tase, so it's good for even picky eaters.

I bought this because both of my cats have dirty bums and since one of them is a diabetic the canned food diet is making their poops soft and sticky. In just a few days of using this there was a noticeable difference in both cats. The best part is they are willing to eat it which isn't usually the case for my cats. We tried the pumpkin fibre from the same brand awhile back and they wouldn't touch it. Will definitely continue buying this.

Excellent product! Has done wonders with my Golden retriever digestion.

Fido doesn't like it and rejects food regularly when this is added. I can't tell if the item works or not.

My cat doesn't seem to care if this is in the food or not, so there's a plus! I've also noticed an improvement in their coat and fur growth so I'm convinced it has helped. Will buy again.
