The old housings were yellowed and had the reflector issue that caused the lights to look as dim as candles at night. I took the halogen bulbs out of the new housings and installed these LED lights and they are awesome! The light is bright, crisp and clear. They were a simple plug and play without any modifications. I had to adjust the beams up quite a bit since the new housings weren’t preset. I may raise the lights slightly more to cast the light further down the road. These lights are amazing and are worth the money. The color of the light is cool white so now the headlights look like a new BMW or Porsche coming down the road. Hopefully they will last a long time. Review: Great Low Beam LEDs - Feel like they're well made, mine came perfectly clocked for installation, didn't have to adjust the collar. They popped right in my '16 Civic. In a projector housing, I didn't need to adjust the tilt (but your mileage may vary), and they don't cause excessive glare. Far better illumination than the Osram NightBreaker 220's I had in there. Color temp makes road signs "pop" a lot better too. No flickering or strobing, great beam pattern. No one flashed me because they thought my high beams were on, which is why I picked these bulbs after doing a bunch of research. They're far from the brightest LEDs you can find, but that's what makes them perfect for low beam applications, especially in a projector housing. They delivered subpar quality, lacking sufficient power and brightness. When I reached out to the support team, they informed me that those LED lights were incompatible with the type of headlamp I had. Since my Honda Pilot has a Projector Headlamp, it seems that not all LED lights are compatible with it. Something that I didn't know before. I started shopping around for a different brand and hardware design. After reading reviews from other customers who purchased this model, I discovered that it was compatible with my headlamp. Additionally, its slim design makes it comparable to the OEM headlights. Once I installed the new lights, it was a game-changer. I can now see clearly even on dimly lit side roads, and even on highways, I can easily see the road and road signs without any effort. Another advantage is that we have a small sedan, and these lights don’t blind other drivers when I tested driving the sedan on the opposite side of the road. This is a significant concern for me, as some brands prioritize the driver’s visibility at the expense of other drivers’ safety.
