We have had this Weston vacuum sealer for almost 11 years - bought November 2015. We have used only Weston brand bags in gallon, quart and pint sizes for freezing some of our vegetable harvests, buying bulk meats repackaging for meals, fresh home made sausages, home made dog foods (that's a review for itself), countless stews, chilies, soups and other freezer storage uses. The Weston bags are excellent - HOWEVER, their price points have increased 2-3X over the years to the point that Weston bags are NOT WORTH THE CURRENT PRICE POINT on Amazon. Alexa AI helped us search for alternative bags using the specifications from the Weston bags on Amazon Shopping. These Syntus Vacuum Seal Bags are equals to the Weston bags down to the tear strip on the bottom. Same clear on one side and waffled on the other. Same sizes available in gallon, quart and pint at more than half the price point dependent on bag size, quantity and if mixed or matched. We vote with our dollar and Weston is out and Syntus is in. Just finished vacuum sealing for the freezer 8 quart bags of sliced zucchini, 12 pint bags of old fashion styled hot dogs, 6 quart bags with 2 chicken breasts each, 3 quart bags with pork tenderloins, 10 one pound gallon bags of 85/15 hamburger meat as patties, 25 pounds of home made Landjaegers in 30 quart bags and some just picked hot peppers right off the vine for use in hot sauces to be made later in the season. ALL Syntus sized bags performed as well as the remaining Weston bags we had on hand. We could not tell the difference between the two. So we now vote our dollars for Syntus bags going forward to save at least half the price point. Highly recommended for the Weston vacuum sealer. These bags worked great - as good as the branded bags - at HALF the price point. Identical to the branded bags. Vote with your dollars accordingly.

The varying sizes were very convenient for sealing & freezing different sizes of portions of a couple of butchered pigs. Now it’s just me & my husband, but my daughter’s family is one of 4, so they needed larger amounts. Being able to fill their deep freezer, saving them quite a bit of $$ on meat for several months, was a huge motivation when my husband decided to take on a bit of pig farming. That “bit” has turned into a LOT, with separate groups intended to breed piglets for sale & others for our own consumption, & needless to say a couple of permanent family members since they’re smarter than any dog we ever had & just as affectionate~minus licking. The last ham steaks cut were 18” on average, w some larger, so these bags were tasked with doing a serious job, while my 3 year old granddaughter is a sausage fiend, so significant time was spent processing & flavoring meat for her before turned into patties & frozen, needing significantly less space than the prior, & then both, & every other cut, spending significant time in a deep freezer, only to provide us w the same high quality meat once thawed regardless of 2 weeks in the regular freezer or 3 months in the deep freezer. And they have proven to be very reliable, as has every size purchased from this brand. It’s been nearly 4 months since the last butchering & freezing, & the sausage is long gone but every other new portion pulled & eaten (2, maybe 3x weekly) is fresh after being well protected & sealed w no leaks or tears during the process, nor after during freezing, after hundreds of sealed packages.

These are great bags. I love the variety of sizes and it’s a bargain for the price. The bags are nice and thick and seal well. I have never reused them so I can’t say if they reseal well but I honestly think they would. I mostly use them to repackage meat and it seals well and keeps them it fresh. I really like that they are already in bag and that I don’t have to make my own.

These are great. I have been using plastic zipper bags because they're inexpensive and easy to put food into without getting out the food saver, but the quality of my food gets compromised in the freezer. One thing I miss with these bags versus the name brand is these ones do not have the white label area for you to write what it is. Otherwise they seal well and I like having lots of each size of bag. The smaller size bag is perfect for little things which used to get kind of lost in the larger Food saver brand bags. They work just the same as the brand name even though they don't feel as thick. They also have a little notch on the side for you to have an easy open area. Will buy again. *update - this is my second time ordering and I love these bags! I use the small and medium ones most often but the larger size has a wider opening. I used to try to conserve the bags and only use what fit the item. Since it's such a great value per bag I don't worry anymore if I have to trim a lot of excess to get the right fit. I use whichever bag I need based on overall size and or opening width. Also the first order of this product lasted me so long that again I got more value out of them. I love these bags!

These are great pre cut vacuum bags. I read all the mixed reviews and will have to say they worked and sealed nicely.

I will keep buying them. They are perfect sizes and good quality. And very convenient .
