The bag will not protect it from being hit or in any way crushed or banged around. ### ⭐⭐ Fine for storage; use at your own risk on the car roof *by S***S on 3 January 2024* FAIL! When testing this with a roof rack, even though it had seemingly less surface area to the wind than a hitch rack, it still caused so much aero drag at around 70mph that my bike came loose from the rack! Luckily my bike was saved from crashing onto the highway only by the plastic strap that held the rear wheel. I suppose there could have been something wonky in my process of attaching the bike to the rack -- a process I've done hundreds of times -- but I wasn't willing to risk my bike to test it a 2nd time.
