This Amazon Drain Cleaner while it's more liquid than gel, it still does a good job in dissolving sink clogs. This product is not overly pungent and required a double application to clear the clog. Good stuff will use and buy again, very economical. WORKS!

I poured it in the slow drain side and left to go run an errand. I ran water through my coffee maker several hours later and poured the hot water through the drain. The drain was better but not completely free. I ran another pot of water through the coffee pot and poured it down the drain. The clog was taken care of and this product says it is environmental friendly. The price was good and I am pleased with the performance and speed of how it worked.

This does the job at home for monthly drain cleaning which I do proactively. The cost is better than the drano gel from Costco.

This Amazon Basics Max Strength Drain Cleaner Gel works okay, but it’s not as effective as Green Gobbler in my experience. It did help with minor buildup, but tougher hair clogs took more effort and didn’t clear as quickly as I expected. The gel consistency is thick and pours easily, and I like that it’s safe for all pipes. The large 80 fl oz bottle is also a good value for the price. However, when compared side by side, it just doesn’t perform as strongly. It’s decent for maintenance, but for serious clogs, I’d reach for Green Gobbler instead. This stuff is no joke. My dishwasher drain was clogged. I used vinegar and baking soda as directed to no avail. I ordered this since it states it’s safe for all pipes. I applied this and went to bed, by morning the clog was gone and my dishwasher is back in use. 🙂

Works wonders. Cleared my bathtub clogged drain that was running slow. Poured and let it sit overnight. It was clear next morning.
