Awesome, works great.
Too many negative reviews for such a really good thermometer. I bought this set that came with the hub and 2 thermometers. You can connect up to 30 sensors on one hub. I am now using 4 sensors. Install the app. If u get a message about an update then download it. Follow the directions and connect to your home wifi , 2.4 ghz only is supported. Once that is done move on to connecting the sensor. Open the app and click the plus sign in top right corner. Use search bar for this sensor. It will show a tiny picture of it on the app if you selected the right one. You will get a message to keep phone close to sensor while connecting. Once it is found u will need to depress the side button on the sensor one quick time for it to finish its connection and make sure your bluetooth is on your phone. In settings on the app you will see Remote View, click it. Next screen will show device and the word Bound. Click on Bound this will allow it to connect to your wifi through the hub. Setup is really simple. If I can get these to work in less than 5 minutes u can to. You can rename the sensor and adjust min and max Temps for alerts. Along with how long it has to be at or above the alert level u set before it sends u an alert. I am using these to monitor 3 deep freezers and in one refrigerator with no issues at all. All refrigerators and freezers have different seals and with all of mine I was able to pull the seal loose from the door and ran the cord under the seal and into the unit for a cleaner look. I am not a fan of a cord showing but it beats having batteries exposed to constant sub zero Temps and failing frequently. I have played around with the alert settings and they have not once failed for an alert to my phone. My hub is mounted up high in my garage. It fit perfectly in the outlet for the garage door opener in the ceiling. If u mount it behind the fridge or freezer it will more than likely get a weak signal. I am pleased with these and I do recommend them. The hub does not have a built in battery backup and needs to stay plugged in to constant power. The app is free and has no monthly fees. Lots of features in the app and easy to navigate through. Wish I had these on my freezers before I lost all the food in one of them while I was out of town. Lost about $700 in food, not to mention a nasty smelly cleanup job and all of it could of been avoided with this monitor system. Update. I recommended this to a friend that uses an I phone, they downloaded the app from the play store, don't do that, it wouldn't connect to the hub. Had to delete it and start over using the QR code on the instructions. Everything works now with no issues. Customer support is a real person and they were awesome in their service. These do work like a charm.

Great product!!
This works great for monitoring our two freezers in the garage! About two weeks ago we found our main deep freeze in the garage didn't close or seal right for whatever reason. We left for a couple hours and came back and everything was almost totally thawed out and filled with ice. Either the door didn't close, or the compressor stopped... Don't know. But I wanted something I could remotely monitor the internal temperature of this, and the freezer of our vertical freezer/fridge next to it. This was priced good, and seemed to have pretty decent reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. This just fits the bill perfectly and have to say I'm pretty impressed so far. It reads very accurate, within a half degree of an expensive, precision calibrated temp probe I have. Very easy to set up and the magnetic displays are bright, good contrast, and easy to read. I love I can see temps for both freezers quickly at a glance. The best part though, is it's app functionality and data monitoring and alarm. The app is easy to use, intuitive, and has tons of data, with graph for monitoring over time. You can set alerts sent to the app if the temp rises over a certain temp for a specified time. Great to have peace of mind always being able to see the temp instantly and get an alert of something isn't right so you don't lose an entire freezer of expensive food. I guess some people leave bad reviews for the app and setup, but maybe they're just not tech savvy or it's too overwhelming for them. Who knows, but if you're at all good with modern tech, setup and customizing everything is a cinch. Highly recommend!

Peace of mind
We came home a couple of weeks ago and my wife found that the product (mostly steak and sausage) on the top two shelves in our upright freezer were thawing. We had just stocked up on meat and were glad we found this out in time. The next day I ordered the Govee thermometer set based on reviews, remote monitoring, and alarm settings. When we received the items, the setup was super easy and straightforward. I like the flexibility in naming, adjusting the alarms and the various reports I can review. The thermometers are extremely accurate and I was initially surprised at how must fluctuation occurs in the refrigerator and freezer based on ambient temperature (garage) and its own internal threshold to cool. The magnets hold extremely well. The digits are easily seen by those people who donโt have the app. I have not had any problem with the range of the sensors in relation to the control unit. We did find that our initial location for the control unit interfered with our Wyze garage controller causing the door to open randomly. Once we isolated this as the cause, we just moved the controller to a different location in the garage and have not had any problems since. We often travel and we have family watch our house. This will be a great tool to add peace of mind. We are now considering buying water sensors for the same peace of mind if we have a water leak while we are traveling. It has a clean look that does not distract from the overall look of the fridge door. The multiple device report screen is really to my liking and is functional as far as getting the information I want to see without a lot of jiggering around.

Works ok
Thermometer works well, but doesnโt always context to WiFi, so you can always see temps on your phone.

Great Purchase
This 2-pack of fridge/freezer sensor thermometers is great. We purchased these because our freezer is on a GFCI circuit in our garage, and we also have a small fridge in our garage. For both appliances, there have been times when we didn't notice that either the circuit had faulted, or we had left a door ajar. These sensors, working with the associated Govee app, solved that problem for us. Now, if either appliance warms up above the alert temperature that we set, we get a notification on our smart phones. We also can get an alert from Alexa. For the fridge, we can also get an alert if the temperature gets too low, and freezes items in the fridge that we don't want frozen. The readouts are very easy to see as we come and go, and the sensor wires that go between the appliance body and the rubber door seals do not compromise cooling on either appliance. The sensors run on batteries, so they are nearly trouble free. We would buy this again, if we needed more.

Provides peace of mind!
Love that I can see the temperature from my phone when not at home. You can also set alerts for if the temps dips below a set range. Provided me with great peace of mind while away since Iโm storing breastmilk in the freezer. Definitely worth the price! Easy to set up and has been durable with opening and shutting the freezer frequently. I have other Grovee monitors, so this was compatible with the WiFi plug I already use for those.

Great idea. Poor hub signal and wildly inaccurate readings.
Update after using these for a while at two locations. These are absolute junk. I would recommend not wasting money on them. They all are about 25 to 40 degrees of variance from the actual temperature. I kept getting alerts the freezer was too warm. It looks and feels fine so I put a thermometer in and verified it was 0 degrees. The app and displays on the 4 sensors are unacceptably far off from the temperature. Same with the fridge temperature. -- This is a great idea in theory. I want to know if my freezers onsite and at a remote location get too warm or if a power outage caused an extended defrost that had frozen again when the power returned. I like the graph in the app. However, the hub is bluetooth to the sensor. Then WiFi for uploading the data. The WiFi seems to connect well. However, the BT sensor doesn't have enough power to communicate very far. The nearest receptacle is about 12 feet away. Direct line of site to the thermometer. Apparently, that is too far. The sensor doesn't stay connected. If I put it in the same receptacle as the freezer, the freezer interrupts the WiFi. Also, one freezer is in the garage and the other in the kitchen. This means you would likely have to buy another hub to put close to the other freezer so the bluetooth can reach the hub. I really like the water leak sensors they sell. They work well and have good range all over the location to the hub. That hub is not BT though. The ones required for the temperature sensors just don't appear to have the range to be useful unless you have 1 hub per appliance and are able to place it fairly close to the temperature unit. If they could communicate like the water leak sensors do with the non BT transmission I would buy more of these for sure. if they can't log the temperature data for me or send an alert, they aren't of much use except to know the realtime temperature in the freezer/fridge.

One was spoilt, one worked
One thermometer worked well, while the other didn't (had troubles connecting to the bluetooth gateway, and kept requesting a firmware update even though I'd updated it several times). Would have returned one, but the return and refund window had closed. For a 50% hit rate, I'd say this was a little expensive.
