These are cut from natural agate stones. Some agate stone have many crystals, so the color is light. Some agate stone have few crystals, so the color is dark. They are uneven in size and shape, Some bookends have holes in the center, not solid

2-3 LBS & 3-4 LBS bookends suitable for CD, hardback textbooks, children's books, cooking books, etc. , 4-6 LBS & 6-8 LBS bookends suitable for magazines, lawyer books, and other medium-weight books.

Question: 3- Why is there a flawed in the bookends I received?

The real agate stones inside is flawed. When you receive them, there may be slight cracks, dents and defects on the surface. If chipping during transportation, you can apply for replacement.
