Epoch Hybrid Photochromic Padded Motorcycle Sunglasses Clear to Smoke Lens ANSI Z87.1+

This is the 4th pair of these glasses I've owned. They are great riding glasses but I use them in my everyday life at home or at work. They change clear to dark but not like flipping a light switch which is to be expected. So if you ride the mountains and go through dark tunnels you'll want to just lower them down. As far as night or day riding I've had no issues with either. I will say becareful cleaning them with just a shirt or rag because they scratch, don't leave them out for your toddler to chew on and brake lol other than that you can't beat them for the money. To my riders keep the rubber side down and make it back to the house every evening ✌️

I am very pleased with these glasses. I have owned several premium riding glasses & goggles over the years and without question, these glasses are the most comfortable that I have ever owned. As several reviews have mentioned, they do not get very dark but that is the reason that I chose to purchase them. I don't like to ride with dark lens. My sight is not as good as it was a few years ago so these are perfect for me.

These photochromic sunglasses are well made, well-designed and fit me perfectly. The foam is comfortable and snug without being tight. Blocks nearly all wind and debris, unlike some others that I've owned. The ability to swap the arms off for the strap is incredible. The only thing I wish was better was I wish the photochromic lenses got darker in the sunlight. However they darken enough to ride my motorcycle safely during the day.

So having had eye surgery, I need a good darker sunglasses. So I was a little skeptical about how dark these would get. I figured I would be able to just put my built in visor down if need be. Well the first day didn’t do too much. Left them out in the sun and let them fully darken, then brought them back inside to fully come to clear and now I have no problems with them! They are fantastic and keep the wind out of my eyes! And the best part, veteran owned.

Comfortable. Average fog resistance. If they are worn close to the face during moderate activity they will fog, but if there is a small space for air flow and the lenses are kept cool they don’t fog much. Good safety glasses, but they DO NOT TRANSITION. I checked under different levels of sun, outside of a vehicle (because auto glass blocks the uv rays that cause the transition) and could not get them to transition. I am going to try the non- photochromatic versions (clear and sunglasses) next. They aren’t the only brand that has this issue. I also tried Rockbros photochromatic safety glasses and they didn’t transition either.

Perfect riding glasses for motorcycles. No wind enters your eyes.

I received mine today and I like it. I don’t know why others are saying it doesn’t get dark because it does in just a few seconds. If you want it really dark then buy the tinted one. You shouldn’t compare it to regular dark sunglasses. Obviously.

Nice riding glasses for someone with a large head/face. I like the size, shape, removable foam & elastic strap option. As others have reported, they don’t seem to get as dark as indicted in the product description pictures, but they do seem to be dark enough for seeing details on a bright day. I guess my main issue is/was that the don’t ship with any kind of case or even microfiber bag.
