Review: Long Lasting - My groomer applied this pet dye to my dog, Teddy, in September 2025, and I’ve been really impressed with it. It was easy to apply, long-lasting, and most importantly, it didn’t cause any irritation at all. One thing I would mention to owners, especially those with non-shedding breeds like Shih Tzus and Poodles, is that the colour can last a very long time. Teddy was dyed in September 2025 and by April 2026 it was still visible. The dye on his feet had worn off by December 2025, but the colour on his tail stayed and gradually grew out, fading into more of a pastel shade over time. A dyed dog is definitely an eye-catcher, but I’d recommend thinking it through carefully beforehand because the colour may stay around much longer than expected. Review: Vibrant - Good fun for Halloween also interesting to see how my dogs hair falls out because i havent washed all of i out yet ## Features - OPAWZ semi-permanent dog hair dye is specialized coloring for pets. It is like temporary hair die for people. It washes out after a while. Once it dries they probably won't lick it. **Q: Will this dye stain the skin or scales? Looking to stain chick toes/legs as ID** A: I’m sure this will work on feathers but for nails/scales opaws’ dye markers may work better **Q: Will it rub onto furniture?** A: No, it will not. Make sure to rinse until the water runs clear after dye application. **Q: Should I put my cat in a cone of shame to keep him from licking the dye before rinsing?** A: If ur cat has light to white hair the color absorbs quickly unless my dog was trying to shake it off in the tub so its best not to leave on too long it may traumatize if ur cat does not like the collar anyway ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Long Lasting *by A***E on 30 April 2026* My groomer applied this pet dye to my dog, Teddy, in September 2025, and I’ve been really impressed with it. It does not wash out 5 washes.. I applied this dye to my pointer and 8 washes later she's still orange. I'm a dog groomer so have access to various shampoos including whitening. Nothing makes a dent. I'm now stuck with an orange dog long past the halloween season.. ## Frequently Bought Together - OPAWZ Semi-Permanent Dog Hair Dye, Food-Grade Pigment Dog Dye, Non-Toxic Pet Hair Dye for Dogs, Cats and All Pets Can be Bathed (Pumpkin Orange) - OPAWZ Permanent Dog Hair Dye, Pet Hair Dye Safely Used by Grooming Salons for a Decade, Pet Safe Dye Lasts Over 20 Washes, Bright Color for Dogs and Horses (Super Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/591799828-opawz-semi-permanent-dog-hair-dye-food-grade-pigment-dog](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/591799828-opawz-semi-permanent-dog-hair-dye-food-grade-pigment-dog) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
