Replacement for brushed Traxxas Slash

Can be tuned to be a bit faster than other 12t motors, rebuild able which is great, but the motor brushes get stuck in their channels and don't have enough spring pressure to overcome a lot of dirt and grime. These are great in dry conditions or messing around in snow since there is no grit. My track is often damp, tacky, and gravelly so pretty much the worst recipe for a brushed motor's life. Once cleaned it functions great again. Aftermarket brushes might fit looser and have this problem less.

My son‘s granite needed a new motor after the stock one burnt up. This motor fit perfectly and seems to have about the same amount of power as the stock motor but I like the fact that this one is rebuild bowl. Quality felt very good when selling the motor, much better than the cheap Chinese ones you can get, which is what I was Replacing this time around. The stock motor hardly lasted. Don’t forget your opinion gear, though, make sure you can get it off of your old motor before ordering a new motor. Otherwise, you will need to buy another one of those. They can be extremely difficult to get off

I replaced the stock 27t motor and my redcat volcano which was pretty slow and boring and now this thing rips hard. I'm more than impressed with its performance. Affordable way to upgrade your RC for more power without having to dump a lot of money in a brushless system.
