Carry On Luggage Airline Approved Zipperless Hardside Suitcase Blue

I have three trips under my belt with this bag now. I feel comfortable calling it a great carry-on. Its wheels are the smoothest of any 8-wheel bag I've ever used, which is almost a drawback because any push gets it in motion and it rolls downhill faster than I can walk. It is the easiest bag to roll through an airport, even with my laptop bag securely on it. It doesn't tilt or stop going over bumps and transition areas, and I rarely have to angle it on two wheels even when rolling uphill on the jetway. It is very maneuverable even down the aisle of an old A320. It saves me from a lot of back and shoulder fatigue. It's extremely sturdy but still light enough that I had no issue with lifting it in the overhead compartment or fear gate-checking it. The rubber corner blocks keep it in place on the shelves of the airport/rental car shuttle, but do not keep it on its wheels in those shuttles or it will roll from side to side. I have had no airline issue (flying domestic) with overhead stowage (Boeing & Airbus), and gate-checked it once. It rolls just fine and relatively quietly on tarmac, too. It keeps everything in place on the inside within each compartment. The removable divider is great to help uniformly compress the clothes on the retractable handle side when used in tandem with the Y-strap. That Y-strap design is excellent and works far better than the plastic snap system in my previous bags. The soft return handles and effortless closing mechanism are also terrific. I had moved away from zipper closure with my previous bag but the closing mechanism of that bag was less than optimal. In contrast, the Level8 closing mechanism is simple, effective, and efficient. Because it doesn't rely on a zipper, it doesn't expand. That hasn't been a problem, even when adding a souvenir 500ml glass bottle on one of the return trips, thanks to the Y-strap compression. I got it in black. It might sound dull but it looks purposeful yet simple, understated and well-built. I added an orange name tag in a shade similar to the Level8 logo and accent details to make it standout just a little. It shows very little scuffing. This bag was worth every penny. It improved my travel experience in more ways than I can include in a review, and I enthusiastically recommend it for frequent travelers.

This bag is anmazing. I got many compliments on its simple yet sleek look. I just used it as a carry on for my latest trip and it didn’t disappoint. I was able to pack 5-days of clothes, my cpap machine, and still had lots of space for the souvenirs I bought during my trip. I like the wet and dry compartment. The Velcro strap to compress the clothes was excellent. The wheels are great and they spin 360 degrees which make it easy to pull around the airport. The wheels are also silent. The bag fits in the overhead bin of the airplane with ease. I highly recommend to anyone needing a quality carry on bag.

The Level-8 Carry-on looks stylish, offers an excellent feel with outstanding craftsmanship and overall build quality. I prefer the zipper less clamshell design for quick and easy access. It is slightly heavier than other comparable carry-on suitcases, the straps and interior are built to last. I highly recommend this suitcase.

I travel for a living 36-40 weeks a year. This bag is very well built. Wheels are superior. Capacity is slightly smaller than the hard side Swiss Gear it replaced, but was minor about 1/4 inch. Online reviewers talk about the locks being hard to turn, no they aren't, I found them about standard for any combination lock. It is a little heavier than the Swiss Gear, but this is because of the bag's sturdy construction. It's a good buy for anyone looking for a better than department store bag that won't break the bank.

Bag: Really good. The squared off corners are perfect for maximizing space. Unfortunately, the internal handle and wheel cut-outs are not. They are both a bit larger than average. I don't mind TOO much as they've done a good job maximizing wheel and handle functionality. But they do take up a bit more space than competitive bags. Overall, I'd say the trade-off is worth it. Handle: Great. Sturdy, strong, goes up/down easily. Button works smoothly. No slop when rolling or maneuvering. It just works and feels good doing it. Wheels: Ugh. Not sure what to say here. The overall design is what you want. Unfortunately, 1 side on 2 of my trucks have bearing issues producing a slight, but irritating, wobble when rolling through the airport. I contacted support who promptly send 2 replacement trucks. However, one of those was worse than the original! That's 3 of 6 trucks with rolling issues significant enough for me to return the bag -- that wobble is just too annoying. Surface/finish/looks: Looks great! Very professional, executive, vibe. But it takes marks easily if that concerns you. I couldn't care less, but I know a lot of people don't like their pretty bag to get all banged up while traveling and this finish shows marks above average. Closure: Old-style Clamshell instead of zippers. Clamshell is a pain when over-stuffing as stuff is always getting caught when you try to close it. That's why zippers are so common nowadays. But zippers are annoying, and they break, and they aren't as secure, and they lead to overstuffing and/or a distended bag. Clamshell has none of those issues. Personally, I prefer clamshell. Hardware/Locks: Robust and well-made. No issues with the construction of this bag. It feels like it is solid and will hold together a long time. Because it is clamshell you get two, strong combination locks. Both operate smoothly and the wheels stay where you put them. Size: Perfect for the aggressive road warrior. This bag is right at the maximum for carry-ons for those of us who like to push the size limits. If you aren't familiar, this means this bag is over the standard carry-on size limits for many airlines. But it is right at (and I mean RIGHT AT) the actual maximum you can fit in most overhead bins. For example on Southwest, this bag will fit in the overhead but only if the wheels are turned just the right way. This is exactly what many of us who travel frequently want as it lets you pack the max and still get it on MOST flights without issue. For those of you that don't ever want a hassle from an overzealous attendant, or periodically hitting an older plane and a bin that doesn't fit, you should probably pick a smaller bag. Short version: I'm keeping the bag and dealing with the minor wobble until I can do hacksaw surgery and replace these wheels with proper blades. If Level8 would simply upgrade their designs to have REAL wheels (check 4MYTU as an example), they'd have a real winner. (Note that I'm comparing to a bag that costs 50% more.) As it is, this is a very good bag at the standard price, and recommended on sale. There's a good chance (at least 50%! ;) I just got a couple lemons and your wheels will be perfect!

This is a Super Well Built Case, Heavy Duty, No zipper, case is closed by strong latches. Well Designed in side & out. I worked for the airlines for 38 years & zippers are the weakness on a suit case, they become damaged when being transported. I chose this case because of No out side Zippers🤩

Inoltre, il sistema di divisione interna è davvero ben progettato: le tasche e gli elastici permettono di organizzare al meglio il mio bagaglio e di trovare tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno in pochi secondi. Altre caratteristiche che ho apprezzato: Ruote silenziose e scorrevoli: Le quattro ruote doppie girano a 360° e permettono di manovrare il trolley con estrema facilità, anche negli spazi più ristretti. Manico telescopico regolabile: L'altezza del manico può essere adattata alla propria statura, garantendo sempre una postura corretta. In conclusione, il LEVEL8 è un trolley che soddisfa tutte le mie esigenze. È resistente, funzionale e dal design accattivante. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che cercano un compagno di viaggio affidabile e versatile.

Needed three carry on suitcases for a family trip to Poland. After reading and watching endless luggage reviews, I settled on the Level 8 zipper less carry on suitcase. Best luggage I’ve ever owned. Smooth wheels, outstanding zipper free locking mechanism and more than enough room for all of my luggage and I have a tendency to always take more than I need. Much easier to close than the old zipper ones! They are so we made I feel sure they’ll last for years to come. They look pretty cool too!
