What a pleasure! I bought this thinking I'd try to make 3 soft boiled eggs. Turns out, these can be the most difficult to get right. But I just followed the directions eggsactly, and despite an initially treacherous peel, succeeded. So delicious. The mfgs really knew what they were talking about. I used a timer to avoid problems. Nice small size. Perfect quality. Cleaned itself almost. Fast time. Efficient low power. Didn't test the auto shut off. It's probably just for if things cook too long. There's no dial, just a glowing button to show it's cooking. Very nice for the price. UPDATE: Beep beep beep! The auto shutdown works when the water has all boiled away. I was a little surprised and happy about this safety feature. I also find that this it makes the best eggs! The shells on medium boil just practically fall off the eggs almost. So delicious, and easier than heating up my RV in our current heat wave. I can leave my AC on because of the low wattage of this charming little cooker!

Love this egg cooker. I hate boiling eggs for potato salad and other dishes. This actually works. Easy to use and eggs come out great and easy to peel. Great price and eggs are done quickly. Highly recommend.

Love! Love! Love this little cooker. Everyone in my family had one, and said I should jump on the bandwagon. I like eggs a lot. Most mornings they are my go to. I bought the cheapest one I could find. It works perfect. You plug it in. Put in your egg or eggs. Fill the provided cup up to the leave of kind of cooked eggs you want, and how many are to be cooked. Press the little button on front, and whamo...presto in maybe three minutes you have perfect soft eggs! If you are doing hard eggs, the BEST part is the peels come off easy. That alone is worth the money. I was buying six already peeled eggs at the grocery store for $4.00. Here is the trick on me. Everyone kept saying prick the eggs first. They told me there was a little prick thing on the measuring cup. I looked and couldn't find one on my cup...but my eggs were perfect without a hole prick. Don't know what happened, but yesterday found the prick on the bottom of my cup. Used it. It worked too. Great eggs, and so easy. Very little clean up.

Smaller than expected but does an excellent job. If it had a built-in timer it would be top notch.

This little kitchen gadget has quickly become an essential part of my daily cooking routine. I can cook my eggs different ways. Poached, scrambled, sunny side up, soft, medium, or hard boiled. This has a built-in timer so you won't overcook or under-cook your eggs. Also included is a measuring cup, poaching tray, 7 egg steam rack, a bowl, a dome lid, and instruction manual with 16 recipes. The directions are easy to follow. Just add eggs, water, push the power button and within minutes your eggs will be ready. No more waiting for water to boil on the stove. I've also found that the eggs do not stick to the shell, so every egg is perfect when removing from the shell. This is very quiet while cooking. A buzzer alert lets you know exactly when the cooking cycle is complete to prevent overcooking. This Egg Cooker is small enough to to store in a cabinet as it is less than 6"x6", and is cute. All accessories are BPA-free and dishwasher-safe for quick, easy cleanup. I highly recommend this product – it's worth every penny!

I love my egg cooker! It does a perfect job on cooking the eggs. It's quite and the ready sound is great letting you know when they are done. It's very easy to use and clean. It's very compact and easy to store.

This makes hard boiled eggs so easy. Eggs are done in just a few minutes. Egg peeling is a breeze. Brought one for my granddaughter that's in college. Has several other functions besides boiled eggs.

So convenient! I’ve only used the hard boiled function, the eggs come out perfectly cooked and easy to peel. The timer works great, you can set it and do something else while it cooks. So much easier than boiling them stove top! Minimum clean up, perfect for quick breakfast.

Works very well and shell comes off easy

It cooks egg well and fast. There are a couple downsides - the egg piercing tool isn’t sharp enough, so I got some shell pieces in my egg. It doesn’t include an insert for making separate poached eggs, which is easy enough to improvise with silicone baking cups. The biggest issue is - the cooker DOES NOT have an automatic shut off feature (as claimed by Amazon’s AI question bot). It gets around this by making a horrible smoke detector noise until you get up and shut it off yourself. Its still almost $20 cheaper than the popular name brand cooker, and beats boiling or steaming eggs on the stove.

Got this a few months ago, and while it does boil and egg perfectly about 80% of the time its not flawless. After first use the metal plate is pretty discoloured and brown. You will only be able to fit one egg in each slot if they are quite small, even if you can fit large eggs ive broken them before trying to get the lid on. It is convenient for personal servings. Set it and forget it.
