Flagship killer
I have been using the iQOO 12 for almost a year now, and its warranty will expire this coming February. iQOO has truly delivered an impressive device. At its price point, it’s fair to call this phone a flagship killer, offering exceptional performance and features. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my experience: Battery: 10/10 The 5000mAh battery is perfect, providing excellent longevity. Paired with 120W fast charging, it charges incredibly quickly and lasts all day with ease. Camera: 8/10 The rear camera performs well, capturing great details and vibrant colors. Selfie Camera: 6/10 The front camera is decent but leaves room for improvement in sharpness and quality. Display: 8/10 The 144Hz LTPO display is impressive, especially at this price, offering smooth visuals and vibrant colors. Software: 7/10 The software is functional and smooth but lacks the advanced AI features and aesthetic enhancements seen in other brands. Connectivity: 10/10 Outstanding connectivity with excellent network reception and support for the latest standards. Gaming: 10/10 This phone truly shines for gaming. The performance, cooling, and responsiveness are perfect for intensive gaming sessions. With the recent launch of the iQOO 13, the brand has introduced exciting improvements. It features a larger vapor cooling system, IP68 water and dust resistance, and camera upgrades rumored to offer better performance for photographers. If these enhancements hold true, the iQOO 13 could set a new benchmark for flagship phones in this price range." Let me know if you’d like more changes!

Beast in this price segment
Cons: 1. Lack of premium sound quality. It's just a sound amplifier and doesn't feel soothing/pleasant when hearing on a full volume with any music. But the sound is really very high and loud. 2. Personally I was using stock Android experience phone before (Nokia 7 plus), but in this phone, Software doesn't feel or give you stock android feel. 3. 360 degree videos which was recorded other google nexus phone does not play good in this. It will play but gives lot of black spots (I think its because of its high display resolution). Basically this should be address via a software. 4. Charging via 120 w charger makes phone more heat. But via other lower watts charging does it's good job. 5. A person who hailed from stock Android experience feels lots of bloatware apps though many people in different channels said that almost no bloatware. I personally uninstalled many bloatware apps using universal bloatware removal tool but some you can't uninstall at all. 6. No memory card slot or 3.5mm headphone jack 7. USB C-type 2.0 - means slow transfer speeds for data transfer via cable. Pros: 1. Very very fast and quick in anything or any activity or any operation. 2. Looks good, feels solid, good and decent in hand. 3. I am not a gamer. But I promise that whoever who plays the heavy to heavy game in this phone are not disappointed. 4. Camera is awesome 4.5/5 5. 28mins to 30 mins to charge 5000mah battery in full. Tested too. 4.5/5 6. Display quality is super in day light. 4/5 7. Lot of customization can be done in settings. (which I personally don't like)

Best budget flagship of 2024 : Phone with DSLR ownership experience
Using Iqoo 12 Alpha 512/16GB variant since a week. Camera is outstanding, phone operating performance is too smooth, network & data speed is awesome, data transfer is unbelievably outstanding, display is too good. Here I will rate individuals: Rear camera : 10/10 Front camera : 7/10 Display : 10/10 Speakers : 9/10 Network & Data : 10/10 Wireless connectivity: 9/10 Data transfer : 10/10 (Both wired & wireless) Build quality: As of now it seem strong OS : 7/10 (OS side improvement required a little bit, but you won't find issues though in routine) The phone stand different because of few following things which less discussed. It has WiFi 7 & UFS4.0, both makes data transfer wired & wirelss in smooth manner, There is no phone in this price can do this. Camera is really magical, normal, telephoto, portrait works really well. Also, OIS in video recording works really awesome, it has horizontal lock in OiS which records steady portrait video even if camera rotated 360 degree. Photos are well in low light too which you can't expect in this budget flagships. If you are about to purchase entry level DSLR along with phone, this phone can serve for both except few high end requirements. Front camera is okay or can say good if proper loght is there, Don't expect Vivo selfie feel in this. Charging speed is magical, it takes 30 minutes from 10% to 100%. There are some minor software issues are there which they are listening & working on too so no worries about it, they can resolve them in upcoming updates. I suggest to check all detailed technical specifications before purchasing as this is my personal experience review with my expectations. This is my first phone with such budget and I'm satisfied well for what i paid. Note : Few users may have reported battery drain and heating. I can say high network variations & constant heavy processing in CPU & GPU can make it, but as of now I've not faced either. If you use phone in well manner, it won't disappoint.

Gaming Performance
I’ve been using the iQOO 12 for a few weeks now, and I must say, it’s an absolute powerhouse when it comes to gaming. The performance is top-notch, delivering smooth, lag-free gameplay across all my favorite titles like PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile, and Genshin Impact. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with the high refresh rate display makes everything buttery smooth. I haven’t noticed any stuttering or frame drops even during intense gaming sessions. The device stays surprisingly cool too, even when pushing it to its limits, thanks to its excellent cooling system. The touch response is highly responsive, and the gaming-specific features like Game Space help optimize performance, making it feel like a dedicated gaming phone. Battery life is also impressive, lasting through long sessions without needing a charge. When I do need to recharge, the 120W fast charging is a lifesaver – I can go from 0 to 100% in no time! If you’re a serious gamer looking for a phone that can keep up with your needs, the iQOO 12 is definitely worth considering. The overall experience is just fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys mobile gaming at its best!

Very Impressive
Writing this review after one month of usage, awesome performance, fast charging, good haptics, camera is really impressive specially the 3x potrait, UI is good funtouch OS not much issue here also got updates here, display and brightness is good even though phone like poco x6 pro which is less than 30k display almost near to it but not as bright as Iqoo. Also when I compared the display with Iphone 13 pro Max iqoo's display is better more vibrant.Haptics is good, phone is always butter smooth, videos using camera are also awesome even in indoor lighting conditions like malls etc. The built quality is also good mine is Red with vegan leather which feels good.120 fast charging is next level. Battery back up when saver is ON can last easily one day.But with heavy use u will need to charge in a day but as it's superfast no issues there. Cons:- Heating while charging which nowadays all phones does and while doing small activities also sometimes. But not too much heating but heating is there Though during heavy gaming it's not heating much surprisingly. No IP 68 rating. No 4k and EIS support in front camera. But overall at this price point it's a beast much better value for money than one plus 12. Hence giving it 5 star otherwise would have given 4 stars.

Review of IQOO 12 (16 GB RAM Variant)
I recently purchased this device on August 29, 2024, and so far, it’s been a heavenly experience, especially for gamers. If you play titles like BGMI, COD, or any other FPS-intensive games, this phone is an absolute beast. The performance is flawless, ensuring smooth gameplay without any hiccups. Camera Quality: The rear camera is among the best I’ve seen across brands. The Super Moon feature is quite impressive, capturing details in a way that very few devices can. I’ve attached a few sample pictures—take a look! The 8K video recording feature is also fantastic, delivering crisp and high-quality videos. The selfie camera quality isn't great, though I'm not sure if it's due to the tempered glass. Performance vs. iDevices: When it comes to performance, this phone gives direct competition to iDevices. Whether it's gaming, video recording, or multitasking, it holds up really well, making it a strong contender. Strange Finding: However, I did notice something odd. When I shake the phone near my ear, I hear something rattling inside. I'm not sure if everyone experiences this, but it's a bit concerning, and I’m hoping it’s not a significant issue. Overall, it's an exceptional device for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts, with only a minor concern that might need looking into.

Best Android smartphone I've ever used
I purchased the Iqoo 12 5G smartphone during the Great Indian Festival Sale ahead of Diwali at Rs 49,999/- and I believe that choosing the Iqoo brand is the best decision I ever took! Iqoo wasn't initially my first choice brand as I was eyeing the OnePlus. But then after seeing the specs of this smartphone and comparing it with the price of OnePlus, and the brand coming from the house of Vivo, it was a no-brainer in the end. Coming to the phone, it looks very premium in hand and is pretty light weight. The screen size and refresh rate is simply amazing and the camera quality is marvelous and you'll love clicking pics and videos on this device for all your friends and family get-together. I love the speed of the phone's charging. This phone could flash charge even inside a railway coach! None of my previous smartphones - OnePlus 6T and Xiaomi 11T Pro have had this feature of rapid charging while travelling inside a railway coach as the electricity supply is lesser than our home or office electricity connection. Coming to the battery backup, this phone has an awesome battery life and can easily go on for over a day on a single charge! If you want to buy a premium smartphone at a comparatively lesser price than the likes of Apple, Samsung, OnePlus and Xiaomi (yes even Xiaomi has become expensive nowadays) the Iqoo 12 is a great option you can consider!
