Best meal prep book
I wish I had this book years ago!! This is the best meal prep book I’ve read and I’ve read a lot! It has so many good recipes with all macros broken down. Which you would expect from a meal prep book. However, Erin has also gone into DETAIL how to put each recipe together to reach your specific goals with instructions on how to prep her recipes for the whole week. Making your meal prep simple and easy to follow! Love this book.

I’ve paid probably $3000 for two different personal training programs to each other their own cookbook. The recipes in here are reliably very delicious. Great macros. Winners! Yum! Handy and realistic recipes
Love: 1) shopping lists; 2) easy to follow cook-all-the-stuff-at-once meal prep instructions; 3) easy recipes. I bring the book with me to the grocery store for shopping. It's easy to follow! I wish there were more pictures of Erin in the book (big fan!). So glad I bought this book. It's my go-to recipe book for 2024!

Beautiful book, good instructions..however you must calculate your own macros!
So this is a lovely book with beautiful pictures. Its well written and very clear and concise. I am using it for the first time today and these are my issues so far: I bought all the ingredients online and had them delivered to save myself time. I have made the energy balls, the taco bake, the Greek style turkey burgers, and the peach chia yogurts....and I will say that this is a TON of work and I'm still not finished! I will have to finish the final prep tomorrow. Now I cook all the time; every day actually, but making this much food at one time is taking literally my entire day. I'm sure having my kids home doesn't help but still. Now and this is a BIG one: You have to be careful what brands you buy. The yougurt I bought had less protien than what the recipe said it would for the amount and somehow when I plugged the recipe into My Fitness Pal the calories and macros in general were not what was stated in the book. So you really need to be careful and check the brands you're buying and enter them into a fitness app yourself to get accurate macros. Please do not rely solely on the recipes given because you don't know what brands she is using. You need to count your calories and macros based on what YOU are using! If you do not do this then you could very easily go over your calories for the day by hundreds of calories! So after all this work you will wonder why you aren't losing wieght and what a shame that would be. So just be aware of these things. It's an entire day of prep, not just a few hours...unless you work very quickly and have no distractions at all. So with all this in mind, I would still recommend this book and I'm sure it gets easier as you keep doing it as with all things :)

The Perfect Combination
There is an unfathomable variety of books about meals for active people. What makes this one special is what is combined in one space, and what is stripped away. Stern provides a simple and quick segment on macronutrients and calculating caloric needs. She explains how to adjust macronutrients based on whether you are bulking, trimming or maintaining. There are no wasted words artificially boosting page count. Many other books in this area drop a hundred and fifty recipes on the reader, and leave them to fend for themselves. The meals in the book are organized into weekly meal prep and come with a shopping list. Equally as important, she has a single page set of cooking directions for each week, which allow you to prepare all the meals in about an hour total. And just to make sure you aren’t caught unawares, Stern includes a list of kitchen equipment you’ll need to prepare all of her recipes. Bravo Erin Stern. And thank you.

Great recipes!
I am enjoying this cookbook! The steps to prep & cook, the grocery list and cooking tools, the different meal plans for your bodybuilding goals are easy to understand. I’m on my 3rd week of meal prepping. Thank you Erin!!

Get this!
This book is worth the purchase! It gives you different plans based on goals. At the beginning of each plan it gives you a shopping list AND tells you all the equipment you’ll need. Then the “recipe” portion tells you how to prep it all at once not just one thing at a time. Really good recipes too. Especially then Greek yogurt bagels with cottage cheese eggs. You can add in veggies to the eggs and seasonings of your choice to the bagels and they’re so good.

J'adore ce livre de recettes d'Erin Stern. Il est très bien fait : chaque plan alimentaire contient un calendrier de 5 jours, avec les macros et calories totales quotidiennes. Il contient une liste d'épicerie et une méthode pour accélérer la préparation des repas, ainsi que des suggestions de mets pour interchanger. Chaque recette est bien expliquée et détaille les macros ainsi que les calories du plat. Parfait pour une personne comme moi qui se prépare à une compétition de bodybuilding. D'utiliser un plan et s'y tenir semaine après semaine permet de gagner du temps et d'économiser sur les aliments. J'au oublié de dire que les recettes sont savoureuses 😋

Gut für schnelles, einfaches Kochen
Sehr praktisch, dank der Einkaufsliste und des Wochenplans. Allerdings sind die Rezepte für unseren Geschmack etwas zu einfach (Weil hier unter Tiefkühlprodukte genutzt werden). Für Leute, die wirklich schnell und simpel kochen wollen, ist es denke ich gut geeignet
