The lock nuts hold the weights in place and seem pretty sturdy. Great value and a good selection of weights to be able to do different exercises or build your way up to a heavier weight. It isn’t the most stable, as it seems as though the rings at the end come loose quite easily, but if tightened properly, it shouldn’t be too much of an issue. It’s easy to set up, and can fit basically anywhere as long as it’s apart. I think that the thickness of the discs are not bad, and it’s an alright product.
