When it arrived I wanted to return it straight away due to poor fit - shape of face and nasal parts are way to large, huge one does not fit face shape at all and nasal part do not protect eyes from heat/steam so you need to cover top with hand or cloth. It can be beneficial if you want to inhale from nose and mouth at the same time or rest your chin on botton part. As heat is strong it is not suitable to use for children itself.As the item is non returnable I give it a try. It does not produce lots of steam as cold steamers do. The item boils the water and works using mostly heat and little steam which comes out of hot water similar to old fashion inhalations where you cover your head with towel over a hot water bowl with aromatotherapy oils or saline solution. It takes few minutes for water to boil and produce steam/heat on setting 2, then I switch to setting 1 as 2 become to strong regarding heat.I bought this model for tee trea oil and four bandits oil nasal inhalation to help with chronic sinus issue. There is plastic part where you can put cotton pad to apply oil for inhalation or you can put saline into 50ml water cup base. When water/saline runs out the item shut off automaticaly. So far I tried oils inhalation and it helped a lot. The heat is strong so I have to put nose in and out constantly and think even if parts were good fit I would not be able to keep nose inside plastc part for long as heat is so strong. However for sinus and bronchitis hygene heat is the way to effectively clear passage with oils and/or saline. As cup holds onlly 50ml of liquid which last approx 10-15 minutes, there is no risk for item to stop working due to overheat.The item is well made and overal bauer products are good quality which should last years if you don't get faulty model. As long as you are able to get use to the shape of it, it will significantly improve the quality of breathing and having in mind good quality tea tree oil can kill bacteria and help to flush them out it may be wirth to buy tool which can handle both oils and saline.I did not tried face steamer just nasal part and found it helpful and now I do not regret buying this model. Most inhalers are not suitable for oils this is 2 in 1 which met my needs.

Great little steamer works a treat and so much better than boiling water and filling a bowl

This is a brilliant steamer especially for the cough and cold symptoms. Very handy. Requires little water and gives nice steam. I found that the setting on no.1 is less powerful or mild, so I use the setting on no.2. It is a good product. Highly recommended.

Adequate, the flow of steam is not very strong. Easy to assemble and simple to use. Would just have been great to have the steam prominently projecting towards the users face.

I use it a lot. Does what it’s supposed to do. Easy set up. Love it. I primarily used it to help soften mucus in my Eustachian tube, after an ear infection, by inhaling the steam. The day after use, the mucus is noticeably softer and easier to drain. My face ripped some benefits too. Hay fever season is here, I’ll see how it does.
