What is recommended to cleaner the soft top prior to applying this product

I used Milton baby bottle cleaner did a fantastic job

Is this dye a quick drying is this ideal for convertable roofs. Is this a water base dye or permonant.

Fairly quick drying and is ideal for convertible roofs. Not sure whether it's water or solvent based but it is permanent. My only comment is that it is quite viscous and 1 litre doesn't cover a very large area so you will need several litres to cover even quite a small car roof especially if the original colour is light and you need two coats to give a dense finish.

What area should this 1 litre cover?

A 1 litre bottle will cover a 2seater (MX5) size roof twice. It should cover an Audi A4 convertible once.

Can this be used on car seats as well. Fabric part not the leather part
