Good quality
Good price and seems like a good quality batteries. Initial assessment showing 2500mah... May increase to the max after few uses.

Durable and reliable
I’ve been using these rechargeable AA batteries exclusively for several years now—there are no conventional disposables left in our home. The build quality is consistently excellent, and I’ve never encountered any issues with leakage or chemical discharge from the casings. What really stands out is their long-term reliability. Every set has been recharged multiple times without any noticeable drop in performance. Even in outdoor use, they retain their charge impressively well. One set powers an external weather station and only needs to be swapped out about once a year—remarkable for AA cells exposed to the elements. The 2800mAh capacity is solid for this size class. While I would love to see a higher capacity option, I understand that the constraints of the AA form factor likely limit that possibility. In short, these batteries have become a dependable part of our household tech ecosystem, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Good cells, but not quite at the claimed capacities.
Have been using rechargeable cells for years starting with NiCd cells in the early 90’s through NiMh versions till now. Discovered low self-discharge cells from Energizer and Uniross about a decade ago. I was really impressed as generally rechargeables though useful was not that great due to the discharge characteristics and were flat before I knew it. The technology was too expensive at the time though and I didn’t convert. I finally converted a year or 2 ago when prices become more reasonable. Brought into Sanyo/Panasonic Eneloop cells and have been using them since. Recently, I was looking for higher power versions, but found that the “Pro” variants to be prohibitively expensive. Found these on the recommendations tab and decided to give them a try. I purchased two 24 packs of AA (2800mAh) and also AAA (1100mAh). Wanted to test the actual capacity of these and put them into my charger to test. I also tested examples of my existing low discharge NiMh cells for a comparison. Have put the results in a table for you. The 2 AA’s were around 2400 mAh which was about 12 – 13% below the 2800 mAh claimed. So these cells have come out lower than their stated capacities, while the other cells I have had broadly outperformed their stated values. On the surface, this may seem that these cells have overegged their values but you need to bear in mind that this was the first time I had used these cells and their capacitates may get better over time (The other cells tested have been through quite a few charge/discharge cycles). On another note, I have only tested 2 Bonai AA’s and 3 AAA’s plus one of each of the other brands. This is not a comprehensive test in any way shape or form but I would still say that it gives us a relatively good idea of their performances. In my opinion, even if these figures are indeed the true values of these cells, I don’t think it should put you off because if you take into account value for money, these are still really good. With regards to discharge rate, I won’t be able to know until I use these for a few months. I would give these 4 out of 5 because of the shortfall from the stated capacity but they still represent great value and I would recommend to you.

Honest review, genuine purchase
I have added one star because following my review they contacted me to apologise and offer a full refund, with no strings. I will not be accepting the refund, because, even though I have not been asked to, I would feel compelled to change my review if I took the refund. I purchased both AA and AAA Bonai rechargable batteries thinking that as suposed to be 2800mAh they would be great. How wrong can you be. I am still using them but they do not last nearly as long as the much lower mAh rated Amazon basic batteries and do not perform anywhere near as well as the again lower mAh rated Enloop batteries. I do not have the equipment to accurately test these batteries but in real world performance for a blood pressure monitoring device, Amazon basics last just over two weeks, of inflating the cuff twice a day, Enloop nearly three weeks and the Bonai three days. I have used both a Nitecore intellicharger and an Xtra smart charger it made no difference and in remote controls the Bonai last a month at best, before the need to recharge the other batteries last well over six months before I charge them, not that the Amazon and Enloop are actually depleted at this point. I would not waste my money on Bonai rechargeable batteries again

Very good choice
This is the third time I have purchased any of these rechargeable batteries and I am completely satisfied with both their performance and their very fast charging. I recommend them.
