My hair is growing back! It has lasted a long time! It’s strong at first, but I think it’s working. My Dermatologist told me my hair is getting thicker.

I love it so far. It smells great, like lavender, mint, and rosemary. I prefer smelling like a garden, not a shopping mall, so the natural herbal scent is perfect for me. In my 40's and have hair down to the top of my tailbone, it falls out some no matter what I use, but, it definitely falls out LESS than typical shampoos. The conditioner it comes with is amazing. I usually need a leave-in after because my hair is so long, but not with this stuff! There's so much, too, so that's a huge help for someone like me with very long hair.

Shampoo and conditioner smells great. And my hair feels soft and has lessen hair loss. The only problem is the conditioner bottle is hard ti squeeze out the conditioner. Since the conditioner is thick, I had to use two hands so squeeze it out. I hope they come up with a better bottle than this. Product does what its intended to do. My before and after using it for a month.

Great shampoo and conditioner. Suds up nicely, but better on the second wash as you should be doing. Smells nice, though I prefer to not smell like Christmas year round. So I appreciate that (as someone else pointed out) the smell sort of dissipates once your hair is dry and with using additional products. For those of you having trouble with the product not coming out of the bottle, I discovered that there’s a seal inside of the lid. Once those were removed, I’ve had zero problems.

The description on the bottle says, "Thickening Formula" and that is a True statement. I don't mind the peppermint scent of the shampoo and conditioner and the feel of in my hair, but I do mind that my hair lost all of it's smoother lighter texture. Instead it changed my hair to what looked like coarse springy hair that reminded me of some type of pasta, maybe Rotini, but with rounded thicker shaped edges. I thought it would be different than the other shampoo and conditioner that I bought a few weeks before in which I feel started the beginning of the coarser texture. I don't think I will use it very much, unless I'm completely out of supplies and haven't bought anything else. I had such great hope that it would allow my hair to relax and look softer but instead it took it someplace else. I basically have thin very soft hair and I've allowed it to grow out with putting any relaxer in it for about 2 years. Therefore all the new growth was turned into rows of round pasta, until it combed it out the hair was basically a full-fledged Afro. Though, my hair is not permed, the texture would straighten out to a smooth straight and UN-frizzy look and style, but with the drastic change the hair took to thicken it, the straightening with a curling iron or heated brush only allows the hair to stay straight and UN-frizzy for a very short time and then change back like nothing HOT has ever touched it. Again, I love the peppermint scent, it left my bathroom spelling sweet for many hours after I had finished shampooing and conditioning my hair. Also, I did try to loosen up the hair texture's look by putting a different moisturizing conditioner in the hair right after using the Castor Oil Conditioner to see if I could make it change the way that it looked, but it didn't make a difference. I was able to detangle and comb my hair pretty easily after spraying some leave in detangling solution, yet my hair was still thick and puffy-like, so YES, it does thicken the hair as it says that it will do.
