Good for amateur radio
Very good and versatile antenna for the price. I have used it with my Baofeng radios and got some very good amateur radio long distance contacts. Good value for money, I say.

cheap and cheerful antenna..works fine
Not much to say about this springy radio item. It works as an antenna for any SMF male equipped radio. 144/220/430MHz triband but only used on 70cm band for reception and it worked fine ...but don't ask me the gain. Springy enough to hack with fishing line and a tent peg as an impromptu rabbit trap while living off the land in middle of nowhere ...or just to make a rabbit spanker to discourage the rabbits from hanging out and nibbling the tent guy ropes

Great antenna, big improvement over the original rubber duck that came with the radio

Brilliant, I bought this to replace the stock antenna that picked up only noise, with the airband antenna I'm getting clear boxes with only a slight bit of noise. I could you around with the squelch but all in all this antenna is very impressive.
