I am a hair stylist and use this lens for capturing photos of my work. This lens will catch every detail, every strand of hair. Exponentially, better than your cellphone's camera. It's worth the splurge.

Really pleased presently. Just got it, love the fact that it'll fit any 17mm screw threaded mount. Makes it very modular and usable on any phone. Some brands including this one sell phone cases instead of mounts only for a handful of phones. So then if you change phone that case is useless. Also, if you damage them you have to buy another case again. So buy this small nice lens and a separate 17mm mount for any phone you have. The application in my case was taking slight close ups in a silent setting (classical concert) where a DSLR's shutter noises are frowned upon and one can risk ejection.

clarity is amazing, this is a very good lens. my only trouble with it at the end of the day was that its not as useful as i hoped. comparing the shots of this on the main camera vs the 3x lens was not significantly different.

The lens itself is nice and works well on the Neewer phone cage BUT they said you could put a 43mm filter on the lens and this is not true. I tried to put a tiffen 43mm lens on the front and it wouldn't thread on. To my horror, I found that the reason it wouldn't thread on is because the glass of the lens sticks out too far so while trying to put the filter on I was creating a scratch dead-center on the lens. Don't make he same mistake I did!!

I have a number of external lenses for my tablet and phone. This is the best I have ever used. It’s a good size both in that it is large enough for effective light gathering, but small enough that it is not awkward. It includes a great case and dust caps for both ends.

I am absolutely in love with these lenses to use with my phone! I bought almost all of them and a couple of different filter kits too! I’d highly recommend this if you’d love to take pictures with your phone. It’ll give you a lot of options if you build a kit like I did

No matter what you try and do, you cannot get a clean focus with this lens. It is blurry every single time even if you use a different app for taking pictures the iPhone refuses to work well with this lens absolutely positively you will never get a clear picture with this lens it is a waste of time it is clearer picture if you just use digital zoom past 5X - I uploaded a photo of Standard 5X photo and then one with this lens and you can see the lens completely destroys the image

Why purchase a second telephoto lens if the camera's native telephoto lens is better? They look equally sharp until you look closer at the cropped images. The first shot was taken with the telephoto zoomed in at the highest allowed range of the Neewer 60mm over the main lens. The second shot was taken using the native telephoto lens in the iPhone 16 zoomed in to the same crop area allowed by the Neewer lens. If you look at the cropped area of each image you will see using the 60mm over the main lens results in blurry details with strange artifacts that should not be there. Especially in the brick pattern in the building. I really like the Neewer brand. I purchased their iPhone cage and many of the other accessories for it. However, these lenses are just "cute glass paperweights." I will be reviewing other brands to see if there are any improvements. I thought I would try the least inexpensive brand first.

For the money, this is a great lens. It is not prefect: it adds a very slight greenish cast to photos, and the edges of the photo are soft. Only the centre of the frame is perfectly crisp. This seems to be the case with many phone lenses, even ones costing 2x the money, and so that is why this one is a comparative good value. For most people this lens will provide good results.
