It cools
This cools my pi well enough. When I used it without a heatsink, my pi seems to throttle to about 10-20MB/s during file transfers But with this it mostly stays around 60-80MB/s, The fan is fairly quiet and it also doesn't seem to move too much air so the cooling over time becomes less effective when under constant load (for me moving a large number of files). It does the job under regular use though so its not bad.

Not enough metal/fins for passive cooling, so the fan runs often
The fan is virtually silent & it does a decent job of cooling, but there's just insufficient metal & dissipation fins in the heatsink, so it does little passive cooling, which means the fan runs quite often.

Sono molto soddisfatto di questo prodotto. Rispetto al dissipatore originale PI5 questo non si sente. Finalmente il mio PI non sembra un F26 che vola :) Veramente consigliato. Compattibile con HAT per PI. Io monto il POE e NVME HAT con questo disspatore senza problemi. Prodotto valido, in uso da qualche mese ormai! Tiene bene sotto controllo le temperature del Pi

Very noisy
While the heatsink is very useful the fan is very noisy for such a small size and low rpm

Klare Kaufempfehlung
Sehr guter Lüfter, einfach zu montieren und ultraleise auch bei Vollast. Wichtig ist auch, dass er PWM-Steuerung besitzt, d.h. der Pi5 steuert die Lüfterdrehzahl je nach Bedarf und nicht immer volle Umdrehungen. In einem geschlossenen Metallgehäuse steigt die Temperatur bei einem Stresstest nicht über 62°C (trotz darüberliegebnder SSD auf einem Hat) und vom Lüfter merkt man noch nicht einmal etwas. Alle benötigten Teile und ein Schraubendreher liegen bei, Heat-Sinks und Schrauben sogar doppelt.

Fitted perfectly on my 8gb rpi5 with the bottom mounted nvme adapter
